I don’t recommend this salon centric location , I love the products they have yet not worth the passive aggressiveness I get every time I stop in; it just seems to be one employee. Last time I asked about Amika product and she compared my hair to horse hair and I have natural textured curly hair.Another time I came in asking about the app and had my license and all identification to see if I could still purchase product and I had my daughter with me. I asked if we could get it set up before hand and she said after I was done shopping yet in the same breath insinuated I did not need to be there. I could look around but needed a license to purchase product and my daughter does not have one. I said right ( she’s under 5). It was clearly an inconvenience to her.

My favorite supply store! I’m always greeted by name (those who know me of course) and the staff is always great about helping me find the things I don’t know where to look for. They call to let me know when the products I use are on sale, and I really appreciate that! Thanks for the great service, y’all❤️

I’ve been purchasing at this store for over 7 years. I’m super disappointed with Pauline , she’s so unpredictable as a person. I can’t imagine as a manager. I walked in to the store and was asked right away if I needed anything , which is the right thing to do in the retail field ( ask right always as a guest walks in)So I say “No just looking, Thank you” and I get a very fake “Awesome” The fake gesture was unnecessary. So I look around the store like I always do, mind you I’m minding my business and here she comes asking again, with the weird stare in her face “ Can I help you “ and it wasn’t a nice gesture it was more like a “are you lost” ..so I stare at her and she then proceeded to say “I’m asking because you’ve been In here for awhile now and it’s been a long time .” Mind you I was there for 5-10 min in the store ??♀️ To make a purchase and look at deals like any normal person would. I then say “Excuse me?” Then she repeated herself not realizing how rude and unprofessional she sounds as she’s walking to the back room, felt uneasy after she said that, I wasn’t sure what exactly she meant by that and I felt more like she was rushing me out , I had enough time to purchase before closing it was 5:32pm when I checked out. I hope Pauline gets her act together and she definitely needs to work on her facial expressions because that can definitely offend someone. And yes I will be going to corporate for this because there needs to be an end to her weird and unprofessional side comments on top of the rude facial expressions.

Called ahead of time to see how color exchanges work for shades I don’t use as much. Was told yes I can exchange what I use for new shades. I specifically asked if I can exchange for new color tubes the same brand. Was told yes I can come in to exchange for the same brand. I drive 1.5 hours to exchange then get told I can’t do that? Super disappointing.

On Monday, October 5th, I went to Salon Centric West store. I arrived at 07:57am. (store opens at 08:00am.), and tried the door to see if the store was actually open, since it happened before, but the door was locked. Not a big deal, I could’ve waited another 3 min., but what happened next is simply not acceptable by any means. I got yelled “WAITE!!!” by staff Pauline who stood behind reception. I can’t even describe the face expression she had at the moment. She was so angry and furious about fact that I tried to open the door 3 minutes before store’s open hours.I shop at this store once or twice a week, all staff know me, including Pauline.Can I say I always have a great experience at the store, not really, not when I get “help” from Pauline, NEVER!Whenever I enter the store in an optimistic and upbeat mood, and looking forward to the prospect of having a look around the store, making my salon supplies purchase, at the checkout everything gets dropped down to negativity, to this very uncomfortable, awkward state if Pauline is behind the desk.I find her attitude extremely rude, mean and arrogant! I never ever even saw a smile on her face while she talks or greets store’s customers.There was a few times when I had a question about the product, but instead of delivering the information to me, I would be given the meanest look as if I was interrupting her.At this rate I will discourage anyone to get “help” from Pauline while shopping at the store!Beware of Pauline!!!

Absolutely my favorite supply store. These ladies have helped me more than any other store in Madison, and they are sooo much more personable. Pauline really has your best interest at heart, as well. I’d say she’s my favorite, but the rest of her staff is also soo incredible!! Thank you ladies for being you! ❤️

I came here needing some toner to go about fixing my hair I bleached at home myself. I asked the employee ( long brown hair, blue eyes, cashier 686011) some questions about Redken toner and she was not friendly at all and spoke to me with a very rude tone in her voice . I get she was probably annoyed I was shopping here not knowing what I was doing with my hair, but I’m VERY new to the cosmetology industry , so I don’t know everything and I’m still learning. She was more friendly to the lady she’s was checking out, and I felt very unwelcome by her unprofessional presence. The employees at Cosmoprof are more professional and I will be taking my business there for now on.
