Shelter From the Storm Animal Rescue (SFTS) is an all-breed animal rescue organization that specializes in caring for animals with major medical and behavioral needs. We have been fosters with SFTS since January of 2025. We have fostered many dogs since then. The foster coordinator is always easy to reach. They provide the supplies needed to foster as well. It's been a rewarding experience, and we are happy to help.

We adopted Bo (now known as Henry) on July 13, 2025. He has been a joy! While we adopted him to be my lap dog he quickly became attached to my husband Dave.
