WOW! I'm very impressed with the workers here. The man I met with was very very nice and was very open and funny. He was very upfront and didn't hide stuff from me. The kiosk worker I saw was also very sweet. Great place, great people, kind faces. :)

Ive been with this Location since 1996 when it was another credit union. I recently went in for a home equity loan to pay off a few debts. They supposedly paid my credit cards off. Today I log into my account and my credit card payment withdrawls were taken out! These were to be paid off! Then they tell me I'm going to have to wait for the credit card company to pay me back in a mailed check!! OH, the loan originators screwed up 2 times and I had to take time to go back into the office to redo their mistakes!! Good bye Summit Credit Union!!

Trenton Bash at the Old Sauk Branch of Summit Credit Union helped me very patiently get my accounts straightened out, listened to what I needed and explained my options. He spent over an hour with me when I walked in one afternoon. I wanted to let him know I really appreciated him!

This is not a review of this branch, but a review of Summit Credit Union as a whole.I have been a happy customer of SCU for a long time, back when they were Great Wisconsin CU and even before that when they were CUNA. In the last few months they rolled out a new website and it has been a disaster. Quicken integration was broken, 2FA didn't work right, plus a number of glitchy things like transfers. I complained to the branch, I complained to phone support, and I sent a letter to the president. The letter led to a conversation with one of her assistants and another with a developer. While everyone was concerned, there was not substantial progress on the website.I have given up and in the process of moving to a new CU.

Their customer service at this branch is terrible. One of the drive through tellers was patronizing beyond belief. This branch sucks.

Ive had summit for quiet a while now, but I would say this past year with them has been horrible, and when I try to to contact them for support all I get told is "sorry for the inconvenience im not sure what could be wrong." I am not one to usually complain, but I'm so unbelievably tired of not being able to access my account at times, from desktop or the mobile app, for internal errors. I personally have asked around to some of my friends if they have had as many problems at their banks as I do with summit, and none of them came anywhere near the experiences I've had. I've become really disappointed in the systems of summit and the customer service portion too, if peoples accounts are causing them to not access it, employees should have a better response than just, " im not sure went wrong." etc. This is our Money were talking about here, this isn't something to brush off the shoulders.

I scheduled an appointment for today after work to open a business checking account. In the email confirmation was a link that was supposed to tell me what to bring to the appointment. That link went nowhere. Only when I called the day of the appointment did I find out that I needed to bring my social security card. I didn't even get my closest branch on the phone even though I called the number listed. I got someone who works at the corporate office in Cottage Grove. I work for a living and I don't have time to be jerked around because you idiots can't get your website working right. The result was that I cancelled my appointment and I will never do business with Summit again.

would like to take this opportunity to tell anyone that has their money or checking account or has a debit card thru these people which i do,,but that is going to change,,i have found out that these people card nothing for your money or protecting it thru fraud ,,,,if for some reason you use a debit card and someone has got your number and charged something on it and you find it is pending and call them about it and stop payment because you did not purchase the item,,,you cannot stop payment even if its pending,,their response is you can file a dispute but they are still going to pay it,,,which a dispute is nothing more than putting you off,,i promise you that the dispute will not be in your favor,,but now you ask yourself why is it in pending if i dont have the option of stopping payment for fraud,,,you cant,,,they will pay it and my friend you just got scammed and there was nothing you can do about it even if you notified the credit union in advanced while it was still pending,,,as i said,,,when you ask about this their response is going to be,,,you can dispute it,,but in all honestly,,it should have never been paid out by the bank,,,,and please dont believe by disputing it you will get your money back,,,,,you will not and they will tell you that you will,,,,they are liers and will do anything to put you off,,,i gave them one star just so they will print this,,but honestly,,,i would give them a minus 10,,,one more thing ,,if you value your money,,especially these days,,,,dont under any circumstances give these people any authority over your money,,,,
