My wife and I have been a member at Summit for a few years now. I have specifically frequented this branch as it is close to my office and have always received great service. Today, I came into the building with an agenda to conclude a 3-month saga regarding an issue with my online portal. Juan was so gracious as to sit with me as we diagnosed the issue and came up with solutions. His assistance and knowledge proved useful as we were finally able to resolve the issue. I have been with Summit for over 10 years. I switched vehicles from a truck to a Jeep. Everything went smoothly at dealer except when I got a bill in the mail for insurance for $850.00. State Farm has tried to resolve with them, but they say my insurance lapsed but State Farm says it did not. I talked with Emily who gave me someone that was from their insurance company who had no time for my issue. I called back and got Elly who then got Tim (probably not real name) who was beyond rude from the start and hung up on me after saying my insurance lapsed. I really liked Summit, but I think it is time to bank somewhere that I am not a number. I used to recommend Summit to friends. Summit used to be so helpful but now everything is online or automated. I know it's a pain, but I will be changing banks.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES TO OTHERS! I'VE EVEN SUGGESTED THAT PEOPLE APPLY THERE FOR EMPLOYMENT!? THANKYOU SO SUMMIT CREDIT UNION FOR BEING A PLACE WHERE IAM COMFORTABLE TO HAVE MY MONEY! ?????????

I really hate to use this forum vs. emailing the president of SCU, but no where on their website is a list of executives email addresses...so here goes.I recently moved my accts from Dane County Credit union as their service has sunk to non existent. It hasn't proven to be a smart move. I applied for a refinance of a loan that I took in Florida in mid January from the auto dealerships bank where I purchased a car. . Another story in itself. Anyway, from the time I submitted my app to Summit , with a few missing pieces I intended to provide when the app was reviewed until the time I finally told them to forget it, was 4 weeks! I have a credit score of 812, have 40 years of solid financial dealings, 5 mortgages, 7 car loans, and several other transactions....all crystal clear and not one missed payment ever! However, the bot [Chris Delang] that I had to deal with and I exchange over 50 emails, I provided him with literally everything he asked for, but repeatedly he called, and I missed his calls, and never left a message with any detail. After awhile I felt like I was being interrogated vs. applying for a loan. I am legally deaf, which I explained to him from the onset, and requested that he communicate primarily via email. He did not. I worked in banking for 11 years, made dozens of auto loans, and never was treated, nor treated anyone, like I was . Totally inept and unprofessional. I thought I would lose my mind! BTW, I had nearly $20,000 down on a $40,000 car. I stayed with the Dealerships Indiana bank. So much for doing business locally. It's apparent to me that these loan reps have little training and zero customer service skills.

I am beyond upset with this institution and I should have removed my money back when the Senior banker decided I did not have enough money in my portfolio for him to spend time assisting me. I have banked with Summit for many years and allowed them to give me a 50 dollar gift card for the discriminatory treatment I received. now today they have shut down my accounts and cards for an account they never removed me from. When my son turned 18 we had me removed from his account. He is now 19 1/2 and I just received a letter that because he has an overdraft I have 30 days to move my money. My dad just died his urn order was declined because they shut off my card I get married in 13 days orders are not going through because they have turned off my card. I have bills that need to be paid. They just shut your card off with no notice. and I was removed from his account. I do not have a card a log in or a password. I spoke with Nicole for assistance with this and she is no longer with the organization. They claim we did not sign a form to get him removed. It is not my fault if a form was not provided to me. I normally suggest people bank with Summit I will not make that mistake again. What an extremely unfair and rude way to treat a person. Once a kid turns 18 it is no longer a minor account, but hey what do I know. anyone know of any good banks out there where I can move my 5 accounts and my families other two accounts. -

During COVID restrictions I needed 3 things notorized via their drive through and they were great, offered me to warm up their entrances and filled out all the the paperwork even though I did not have an account. Very professional staff

Summit is really good at calling you to make your payments which is great, but if you as a customer have questions no amount of emails or phone calls will get you an answer.

I went to this branch in West Washington Avenue,I found this lady by the name of Antonia Franklin, omg?such a wonderful, friendly, beautiful woman she gave me a 5 star service, on top of that she offered me a hot chocolate☕.... Their stuff is family friendly!
