Rented a trailer yesterday - they were quick and efficient! While connecting the trailer to my car they noticed the running lights did not work - found faulty fuse and replaced it at no charge!!

Fast, easy scheduling. This location is staffed by extremely helpful people who were able to help over the phone and even more in person. Lots of inventory on hand which made our last minute rental a possibility. We saved over $500 transporting our vintage vehicle using one of their trailers.

This location completely dropped the ball. I had ordered a truck along with a tow dolly for my car. I arrive to collect everything and get my stuff and I get told that I have to drive to another location an hour away to collect the car dolly. So that was over two hours of extra drive time that I had to do in the Uhaul that I had rented. I get back with the Uhaul and I’m standing in line waiting to be helped with securing my car to the car dolly for a ridiculously long time. The general manager there did at least do a good job in helping to secure my car, however; it put me behind several hours making it much harder than it needed to be. I was unable to collect my keys until the following Monday and I arrived at my new apartment past 10pm in my new city and had to submit a maintenance request for them to unlock my door while my cat was in the cab in his carrier crying. I very nearly had to book a hotel room because I couldn’t get to the landlord’s office in time to collect the keys for my new apartment. Utterly frustrating. I did not shell out over $500 for such awful service. Do not recommend.

Manager was incredibly helpful at pickup. Upgraded to bigger truck at the same price, which we actually needed!

I’m not someone who usually leaves negative reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I feel it’s worth sharing. When I arrived for my scheduled U-Haul pickup, there was a line out the door and only one person working the desk. Multiple customers, myself included, were waiting for assistance with reservations, returns, or simply to get keys—and there was zero communication about delays or what to expect.
I understand things get busy, but there was no sense of urgency, no system in place to manage the crowd, and no acknowledgment of how long people had been waiting. A simple heads-up or check-in would have gone a long way. Everyone was just standing around unsure of what to do next.
I’ve used U-Haul in the past without issue, but this location needs better staffing and basic customer communication. The process should be smoother and more respectful of people’s time.

The employees in store are more useless than the employees on the customer service phone line. The guy working just talks about how bad of a company Uhaul is and doesn't actually do anything to help.

Pick another uhaul location, literally any other one. This location rips you off. I was told to "overestimate" my mileage for the uhaul when renting. When returning the truck, I put gas back into the truck, and it was just a hair under 3/4 tank where it was when I rented it. They then tried to tell me I returned it at a much lower amount of gas, and also never accounted for the 22 less miles I drove the truck when returning it, and charged me more money. Terrible service and experience. This is the 2nd bad experience I had here. Prior one they didn't have my rental ready, and gave me a different truck that ended up having an issue with the tire. Had to just return it and make other plans.

ABSOLUTELY 100% DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE!!! Great staff. Great service. They made my storage rental and one way drop off change of location as easy as freaking possible. If they would've had a tip jar I would've jammed that bad boy up with a couple of $20s. That's the level of happy I am with this experience. Keep crushing it you crazy kids. I'll 100% be back...mainly because my stuff is there, but YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

The ONLY reason I would EVER consider this place again or consider giving this place a good review is because of the staff member DONTE O. His desire to do right by customers in the position he is in is unmatched. I didn’t even get that type of service or confidence in service from the GENERAL MANAGER. AND neither did my friend who had a storage reservation; as mine was just a truck reservation. You will NEVER see a good review about Uhaul or this store coming from me. But Donte O. deserves all the praise. Thank god for better companies such as Penske or others, so I know EXACTLY where my money and moving needs will go next time. Do better Uhaul, the Atlas Ct location needs to do better and get better managers. Matter of fact, have your managers spend a day with Dante, then maybe they’ll learn humility, and professionalism.
