We invested our Roth IRA with LPL through UWCU wealth management from 2017 to 2022.Our emails and calls often went unreturned.Despite our request for an aggressive investment portfolio, our rate of return through our financial advisor during this period, impressively, was just under 0%.Your finances are better off elsewhere. The products offered through LPL in my opinion are garbage. I personally had much better success having a brokerage account with Schwab and an ETF in the s&p 500- much simpler, minimal to no overhead, doesn't require a phone call to reinvest rather that accidentally being left in cash for months on end.

I typically just do on line banking, the few times I have gone to the facility has been pleasant.

The UW Credit Union employees at this branch are very professional and friendly. Like any place sometimes I come across one not as friendly This is one of my favorite branches, since I speak Spanish I always practice with the bilingual tellersI always leave very happy because they help me resolve my questions or problems. Kudos!!

I have been to other UW credit Union locations in the past, and it made me not ever want to open an account with them ever but going to the one on Junction Road made me change my mind. I love the experience and the overall way I was treated. I will only use this location because I actually felt welcome.

Very surprising and, once I was sure I was correctly understanding the new concept, I also understood the need for this new approach to money depositing. I've been a UWCU user since arrival in Madison and have always been pleased with my experience. Service is always great and today I'm quite impressed with the peculiar feature that should make fraud more difficult to perpetuate. Usually I have always inserted an envelope with my cash deposits in not the ATM. I'm thinking this no envelope deposit thing is because it previously was a potentially simple way to claim to insert funds into an account, lying to the machine, and immediately being able to withdraw some money back, and having till the next business day before the thievery is discovered. About a month ago I needed to make a substantial cash purchase, so I withdrew from inside the bank a bit larger amount than actually needed. I'd hoped that my payment in cash might be better, creating that incentive to the trailer dealership to maybe give me a very welcome discount. Also on my attempt to hopefully receive an alternative bonus: using my mileage credit card to receive flight miles towards some travel. No on both counts. The dealership was selling at the (reasonably reasonable fee, I guess. Spending thousands in my world is not a daily thing, so I only hoped my early recon was accurate, and this cost was my best option.) The credit card thing, it was revealed meant that I'd be charged a fee of up think, 5%. I saw that 5% of $7k was a sh*t ton more than even this miles would likely be worth. Additionally, the salesman told me that a few years before, they would have something in the area of $30-40k annually in fees for accepting plastic! Gee whiz, that's a definite gouging on the part of the already agreeably corrupt CC business. So, returning to my starting point, this is a very interesting and effective approach or strategy to combat criminal behavior that too many of our neighboring citizens are willing, née seemingly bred to partake in. Steal at every opportunity, steal at any moment, steal from everyone, because they are the only reason your perceived hardships are how they are! Living in the moment and ripping off others is your best chance to rise up in the world and become a respectable person in your similarly thinking peer group. After all, look at how the American people assisted in their efforts to worship a corrupt orange buffoon to the highest seat in government, and his never ceasing lies makes his every irredeemable action, yet another example of his virtuous and admirable behaviors in that they too parrot and ape in their daily lives, while still perhaps arriving hungover and almost able to remember how they debased their wife the night before, with their Christian buddies, or maybe their offspring, or perhaps short changed the Walmart. You know, good honorable GOP Christian values. Wow, I certainly found a tangent this time.

It's been a great bank and maybe still is for simple online only tasks. But from my experience over the last 2 weeks it has been awful. Very friendly but totally incompetent financial specialists who are giving incorrect information, not capable of filing and processing simple car loan and wasting an enormous amount of your time. I'm sad to say that but I cannot recommend this bank anymore.

Although I have moved to another state, I was always satisfied with the helpful and knowledgeable people at this branch. I was so satisfied with the UW Credit Union that we kept our accounts even after moving.

Denise, the branch manager, helped us out tremendously. We came in with an extremely large and urgent problem without an appointment and she worked hard and for a long time to help us out of a jam. Thank you Denise for your excellent customer service!

Their employees have their pronouns on their business cards, but when I get a letter from the bank it address me only as Sir/Madam. Do better.

I went in last week to open a checking and savings account last week after moving to the area and want to bank locally, overall the process was pretty simple and painless but was a little surprised when I was told that they would need to pull my credit to open an account. Didn’t really think much else until I received a letter in the mail about a credit card I applied for which I did not. I never once mentioned any interest of opening up a credit card or applying for a line of credit. I have been with my other credit union for over 20 years and have never had any issues. I plan on closing my account this week, based off of this experience I wouldn’t recommend this branch.

The service here can be hit or miss. Today it was great. I do my banking here because I prefer credit unions, and they have a lot of branches in the area.
