I have been a customer at this Walgreens for many years, and have had a number of pleasant experiences. However, tonight was frustrating and disappointing to me. I went to pick up my medication from the pharmacy, which closes at 7pm during the week. I recognize that I was running late to meet this closing deadline, but I pulled up to the Walgreens Pharmacy drive thru window at 6:57pm. Upon arriving, I made eye contact with three employees- two of whom were technicians who could have given me my meds quickly. These employees did not help me. Instead, they continued talking amongst themselves. I ended up calling the store at 7:01 to figure out why I had not been helped, despite another customer being helped inside the Walgreens who arrived after I did. However, I was immediately told that the pharmacy was closed and they could not help me. As someone who works in the customer service field, I recognize that the worst customers are those who scramble in 2 minutes to close, but I still help these people because it is my job. I feel incredibly disappointed and disrespected that the Walgreens pharmacy staff chose not to help me tonight by giving me my prescribed medication- a process that has only ever taken a mere 2 to 3 minutes.

The pharmacy staff is always pleasant and efficient. When I call, it is easy to speak to a live person.
