I shopped here on 3/13/24, I am in a wheelchair. I found the store not up to accessibility standards of 2024. There is only one entrance and exit for this store which is located only in the covered parking area. The front doors that are easiest and most accessible are locked. WHY? The store is in a neighborhood that is meant for ease of getting to and from without a vehicle, that's the whole point of building businesses in a residential neighborhood. They say they want your business but haven't done anything to actually show they want your business other than blocking doors. Didn't anyone think about the fact that locking doors decreases business? Its not a smart business decision at all. I talked to the manager who was not understanding about my accessibility concerns at all. He said he would "Pass my concerns" on the owners but was not apologetic in any way. He didn't offer any solutions to the problem. All they have to do is unlock a door but were unwilling to accommodate that. The manager and owners seem to be really ableist (discrimination against people with disabilities). They will not be getting my business again until they learn about accessibility and show us they want our business. Studies show businesses lose billions of dollars by not being very accessible.

Brand new location and must be twenty times bigger than the old one! Parking is likewise expanded (and in a garage, not outside). Very impressive store, more like the Austin flagship (we're Austin ex-pats and were glad to find Whole Foods up here when we moved north). The selections are much more expansive altho' still not as wide as they were before Amazon took over and cut a lot of offerings. The prices tend to be higher than other stores, but some items on sale are sometimes lower than the competition, and Amazon prime members receive discounts and reward points. The quality is generally higher, at least, so you get some extra value for your money. It's never going to be a bargain shopping experience, but for certain special or exclusive items, organic items, and superior produce and meats, you can't top Whole Foods.

Absurd prices for average quality. You would be better off going to almost any grocery store.

The new Whole Foods Market is an enormous change from the old store which was just down the street. Enormous in size for sure and enormous in the selection of items too. It's truly a destination shopping experience. One pro tip is to be sure to use your Amazon Prime membership to get additional discounts. You can even pay using the Amazon app or scan your handprint. My only negative is the building itself, which is pretty stark. It mimics the nearby Target store with the integrated covered parking, which is great for the adverse weather. It just gives the experience more of a commercial office building feel. I guess it's a compromise to get used to.

Visited the new Whole Foods store today. It's a very nice store. Attached to a parking garage made for easy parking. We bought just enough food to use our $15.00 off coupon. The prices haven't come down any. If you like to spend your money at this store that's fine it's your money but if you shop carefully at any other chain grocery store in town you can buy excellent products at a more reasonable price. Just sayin' One thing we noticed is how rude the other shoppers were (not the staff, I'm talking about the customers.) We haven't experienced this at Hy-Vee, Metro Market or Festival. What gives?

First off, WOW this new store is gorgeous. It’s huge, has a fantastic selection of fresh food, and the covered parking is awesome. Great addition to Madison and honestly the prices seem on par with some other grocery stores in the area. Two things that could make it better- the smells towards the front of the store were incredibly overwhelming. Not sure if it was the soap or something but I left feeling like I was having an allergic reaction. My nose was burning and normally I don’t have an issue with smells. Second, the carts are large and there’s a lot in that store. It could have been more busy than normal, but less stuff in the middle of walkways would help. Super excited to have this new grocery option!

Reviews from the old location carried over, FYI. New location opened on 12/13/23 and its great. Fixes the cramped feeling of the old location with wider aisles, high ceilings, lots of light. Lots of fresh fruit, veggies and meat. Stick to walls and you cant go wrong.

Poor quality and small for a Whole Foods. They are more and more masquerading as a health food store that just charges more for fast food type items. The hot food bar is an absolute joke- looks like the KFC buffet bars.No coffee bar here, no indoor seating, you’re probably better served at Willy St.

This is a nice, well-stocked Whole Foods. Some areas are a little cramped but the produce is terrific as well as the deli section and the bakery. They have the best sourdough bread. The pizza is good too! Friendly employees and quick checkouts.

Disappointed in the bakery department. I always love their cake and would love to order from them for important occasions. However, they changed the system so that over the phone and in-person ordering are no longer available. Online ordering only has 2 kinds of cakes, no sheet cake. Worst of all is the unwillingness of the staff to help customers figure out a helpful solution.

This place is awesome. Not only I have shopped there also I've worked there. Coworkers are really nice people, everyone. The quality of the products are outstanding and the internal procedures guarantees this. It was a great user experience to have worked and shopped at Whole Foods. The bread ooooh!!! the bread try the Italian bread, also there is a bread that has all of the seeds in the world, don't know its name. The guava cookie, the cheese, the olives. The only bad thing is that every time I left work I always bought a snack to try, but at least I had an employee discount.
