Wisconsin mutual is absolute crap I just got a letter today for my husband that they were going to raise his car insurance because of credit scores what kind of work and people do that kind of thing I'm sorry but a company that does that stuff should be shut down

I call my adjuster every week and I’m still waiting to finalize a hail damage repair. The adjuster marked a brand new roof as needing a replacement and siding that is obviously damaged by hail as good. They then tell me to go out and take photos and send it to them like I’m the professional and I turn it back to their ballpark telling them that they’re the professional adjusters. In the end, I had the siding company send them the photos to prove hail damage. I feel like the siding company that has to provide the estimates and quote should be able to bill for what the adjuster did not do or send the adjusters a bill. The repairs have been paused, waiting for approved payment from insurance company allowing more water damage behind Siding, as I wait. I normally don’t post bad reviews, but waiting and have to call the company once a week and making no progress is getting annoying. I’ve provided them photos and estimates for all repairs needed well below market value for all repairs needed

Don't bother. Look elsewhere your hail damage claim will be denied even when clear damage is present and dozens of other of claims on my street were approved by other insurance carriers. We have had several contracts on our roof chalking damage. Save a headache and give your premiums to a insurance company that pays. If you do use them be ready to call OCI to file a complaint with the Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI).

Terrible Company! Despite being customer's for 10+ years it was almost impossible to make a claim on hail damage to our house. Communication is terrible also!

It was a pleasure working with Scott Gronholz re hail damage on my home. His inspection was thorough. He walked me through the Estimate and answered my questions in a respectful & courteous manner. Scott was prompt in returning calls. I appreciate the professionalism and friendliness Scott exhibited throughout our interaction re my claim with Wisconsin Mutual.

BEWARE! This company is adding people on to my policy since they use my address. The letter said they have drivers licenses so they will automatically be added. One person doesn't live with me and the other is a roommate. Why am I responsible for other adults? I am in the process of finding another company.

Never go with this company! I hit a deer, which was not my fault and then I was hit and run about a year later. Neither were my fault. This company raised my rates and then dropped me without even telling me! And they lied and committed fraud saying the hit-and-run was my fault. I wasn't even in the car. I was in the mall and somebody hit my car in the parking lot, which I will be suing them. If they don't change how they reported the accident.!!! It's sad because my agent was a great guy. It's the company not my agent.

I recently changed to this company in July 2024 and am so disappointed. Had I known prior to signing up with this company, that their employees work loads are so excessive the customers suffer as a result, I would have gone with a different company.

Got a letter a few weeks ago that they wouldn’t be renewing my coverage because I was in 2 recent car accidents (not at fault for those) and 1 about 5 years ago, also not at fault and 4 years before I got with them? Doesn’t make sense. Sucks because they were the cheapest

After being a dedicated customer for several years with both an auto, home policy and no claims, I was suddenly dropped on a home renewal. I will also be changing my auto policy. 10/10 do not reccomend as these past 3 weeks have been a nightmare!
The underwriter completely ignored my insurance agents emails. The accounting office lied and said they hadn't received my home insurance payment made through an escrow account. When in fact it was received and processed the day before. The accounting office lady I spoke with was down right rude and combative.
I even chose to stay with them after an insane rate hike on an auto policy renewal. Had I done more research I would have dropped them back in the fall of 2023
I advise people to look elsewhere for insurance options as there are most certainly better companies out there.

WI mutual insurance has been absolutely amazing...over 20 years with this company and all "incidents" , 5 or 6 of them, have always been handled quickly and efficiently! Also the first question asked " is everyone ok?"I call, tell them what happened and I know everything will be taken care of! Amazing, caring people to work with.

Terrible company, expect the run around with a claim. They will employ tactics to not pay and deny. This company has horrible reviews, save yourself a major hassle and stay away, I feel this company is deceitful, dishonest. I was sold a worthless homeowners policy. That is my garage in the attached picture right.
