Hether was very helpful over the phone, very easy to talk and fast survice. Hether had somone out to look at our AC the very next day. the tech that come out was very nice and informed us of everything he was doing and looking at.I would definitly recommend this company for any heating or AC issues you are having or any questions.Hether even followed up the next day to make sure everything was working the way it should be and that everything got fixed.Services: A/C system repair

We have been using Hurtis Heating and air conditioning for a number of years. We had a problem with our air conditioning when we started it up on 5/30/23. Called up Hurtis and they sent service technician Jeff the next day. Awesome service and reasonable prices! Jeff fixed the problem and advised me on how to avoid similar problems. Thank you everyone at Hurtis. Especially Heather you were my first impression of the company. You were very thorough over the phone, super nice and easy to talk to. Honest and got someone out the next day to look at our furnace. I appreciate both gentlemen who came out to the house. One gentlemen to look over the furnace and he even had time to do a cleaning. He was very respectful and honest. After the part came in they were able to get someone out that very next day. That gentlemen was great as well kept me informed of anything he had to do. I first heard of Hurtis from the TV ads. They have replaced the 3 systems that were originally in the house when we moved in. Every step of every interaction has been professional and completed in a reasonable timeframe. This is an update to a review I left about 3 years ago. My initial review was extremely positive. However, I felt I needed to leave an update after having a unit for 4 years regarding my long-term experience so far. Things went fine up to this point. I have paid them to come to do routine maintenance and I would say we have been happy with the Mitsubishi brand overall. However, we recently experienced a system failure. So, the service experience was put to the test. Come to find out, the failure was due to a faulty union compression fitting that was used for the initial install. After having a discussion with the company about that and having them confirm that they no longer use that particular fitting because it was defective to begin with, they still feel that I should have to pay for the service of having it replaced. Mind you, it sounds like it is going to be about a day's worth of labor to do so. (I mean...this is a part that should have lasted the life of the unit. It's not a maintenance item.) It's been several weeks since that call, and I have yet to hear back from them. I wasn't trying to a problematic customer; I was just trying to ask them to do the right thing here. I'm not sure most customers would feel that the cost of a faulty component like that should be borne by them. Think of it as similar to a vehicle recall. (This thing costs almost as much as a vehicle.) Things that were not designed to fail prematurely should not be placed on the shoulders of the customer....this kind of stuff needs to stop in our society. The caveat here is to be very careful about how they use the product warranties to sell you their products. I spent premium dollars on the Mitsubishi brand, partly because it came with a 12 year warranty (Well, parts warranty that is). I was told I would not have any problems with the unit as long as I had regular maintenance done on it...which I have...and have paid them to do. Well, the 12 year warranty turned out to be lipstick. The actual warranty that matters is the 1year labor warranty...unless you want to pay for an extended warranty. (By the way, whenever someone pushes extended warranties anymore...I consider that double-dipping in my book...it's a ridiculous concept when you think about it) There is a big discrepancy when a product comes with a 12 year parts warranty and a 1 year labor warranty....I should have noticed that red flag from the beginning...so lesson learned for me there). Very unfortunate. I'm still hoping they do the right thing here. If they do, I will praise them for it. If not, I'm just putting everyone else on notice here. That way, we can try to reward the businesses that have a genuinely clean conscience and care about the long-term relationship of their customers. A loyal customer...or any relationship for that matter...is based on trust, right? In this case, focusing on fine print doesn't instill feelings of trust...it instills feelings of being duped. Would they throw out that same fine print in the face of their own family member or close friend for this particular situation? I bet not.
