“I have been an enthusiastic fishermen since age 8. During my "career years", from age 30 toage 50, I only fished 3 or 4 times a year. After that, my fishing activity increased dramatically, as did my purchasing of new equipment. Manufacturers' products, packaging, and promo videos lured me in. Academy Sports' twice yearly clearance sales made it illogical to leave their store without 20 to 50 items. Then, God help me, there's Ebay. All of this added up to one result: I am a fishing tackle hoarder. So, here is where K+K Mini Storage enters the picture. I needed a place to deposit my many boxes of goodies, get them sorted, and sell off most of it. K+K is located on KrautKramer Road, which intersects State Highway 107, just north of Marathon City, and just south of State Highway 29. The facility is fairly new, and spotlessly clean. I rented a 10 foot by 20 foot unit for only $60 a month. There is no onsite office, so all communication is via phone or on-line. The employees have been quick to respond and very courteous. Because there is no security gate, I can operate my sales out of the unit just like a storefron, limiting access and maintaining 6 feet of privacy space between people. The only drawback to this facility is the unpaved parking lot. Yet, for the price, access, and location, this is perfect for my needs.”
