The people are very nice and helpful but there doesn't seem to be as many trees available as other farms. Also maybe they all do it, but some of the Spruces are clearly spray painted blue/green.

We have been going to the same farm to cut our trees for over 15 years. The original owners sold the farm a few years ago and the new owners over-harvested and under planted the past couple of years, leaving few trees left. I happened to come across an article and the original owners co-own a beautiful tree farm in Marshall. They had closed their farm last year to let their trees grow for an additional year to allow for a larger selection this year. They have the greatest set up, providing not only sharp saws, but sleds to pull the trees. They also shake and bail your tree. There's even free hot cocoa and homemade cookies waiting for you when you pay. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience, beautiful farm with a great selection of perfect trees. Thanks for taking the extra precaution during these times. We will be back next year, and every year after. Thanks again, happy holidays!

This is the best cut-your-own Christmas tree farm in the Madison area. Every tree on their expansive property looked great, prices are comparable to others, parking is easy, instructions and pricing are clear, and their covid-19 protections were outstanding. They provide saws and sleds to make it easy to drag your tree back to your car. Complementary shaking and baling are included. Friendly staff as well!

One of the cleanest most well maintained tree farms I've ever been to. As their website indicates they are out of big trees for 2020 so if you are in the market for a perfectly shaped 7-8ft tall tree come here! Next year I'd go early if you want a big one. Covid precautions in place and friendly staff. Cash or check only.

Always a good tree farm! They're doing great covid-19 precautions, too.

Our first time— lovely trees to pick from. We’ve always taken a gamble with a precut tree elsewhere, but there is a big difference straight from the farm. First it was nice to shop the perfect shape (if you’re picky, maybe bring your own marking string to label the best side of the tree before you cut & bring home). And secondly, it’s amazing that I’m not cleaning up heaps of shedded needles. We may have missed out on the normal traditions at the farm this year, but the tree is lovely & all the workers were jolly and helpful— asking us careful questions before they made any cuts. We will be back!

Our family has made Riverside our go-to tree farm since the first year it was open to the public. The trees here are quality and priced very fairly, especially for premium species like Fraser and Canaan. Our 2019 tree in the picture was a 'budget' tree that after trimming measured 11'10"....$77. Shook, baled, and placed on your vehicle and very friendly. Over the years the popularity of this farm has grown, so I'd advise going early in the season. Skip the other places, you won't find better trees anywhere else.

We have visited Riverside every year for the past seven Christmases. The trees are always beautiful, the people are friendly, and I like that it's not a very gimmicky place. It is a place to go with your family and cut down a wonderful tree and it's pretty straightforward and we love it and plan on purchasing our own tree here every year for as long as they're around. It was the first tradition my husband and I made together as a couple and one that we love doing every year.
