Terrible customer service home loan officers don’t know what they want or need talked to one lady she wanted one thing then after I get that sorted the other wantsd something else it’s ridiculous and was treated like a criminal use a different bank for a home loan avoid this place at all cost.

About a year ago, my family went to New York and we let the bank know we were going. Our card was declining because a hotel double charged us, and when we called the bank to ask them what was going on, the employee we talked to was very rude because it was close to closing time. It’s ok to be upset about that stuff but don’t direct your anger towards other people. If you don’t like the job, don’t work there.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. The customer service and communication from this bank is terrible. I have had nothing but problems since getting a car loan here. They are difficult to get going due to the lack of communication on what the bank needs. They also do not communicate or ask what services you want. I said I simply wanted a car loan, no extra warranties or insurance. I was assured I didn't get any. Now that I am looking into it I was charged over $2000 in extras that I never wanted and am unable to cancel. When you call to use these extras you paid for, no one knows how to get it done. Absolute awful experience and terrible bank in general. I will never use this bank for anything again.

I've been with Simplicity for 10 years (going back to the days of Central City Credit Union). I've had too many technical issues with their online banking and mobile app and have concerns with security. I've seen very little improvement with their service over the years. The only improvement I've seen is the facelift all branches received when Simplicity took over but I rarely visit a branch in person. I am still a member of Simplicity but my frustrations continue to grow. It is only a matter of time before I move on from them. I do not recommend Simplicity Credit Union.

My loan was paid, just wasn't aware the payment increased slightly so my account was reported late two days after I made another payment which impacted my credit during a time when credit is essential to my families success. It was reported to the credit companies for being 5 dollars past DUE!!!!!!!! I didn't receive any correspondence of this do to outdated contact information and cant log in to online banking. They pretty much say, "ohh well." When I asked if theres anything I could do, I was told I could try to dispute it on my credit report, but then they will just say I was late......... Why even tell me that then.... The cute slogans and friendly phone voice is to mask that they are just like every other bank that wants to make money without care for their customers. I do not recommend.

I moved from out of state to the local area, and was in need of a van for the wife and kids. We had saved up a significant down payment but was turned away at the dealer by all lenders mainly because we had no "established residency." So we were referred to Simplicity. While there we discussed how we are new to the area but had a down payment, showed them our rental lease and incomes and was able to get approved for the van, we also established banking there and a FlexLine account to help build our credit some more. Being able to sit down and speak to a person and explain our situation and receive the help we needed as a new family from out of state made a huge impact on us and will have us banking here as long as were in the area.

Always get the run around n get told we are busy then will see almost half the staff talking when not can’t own up to mistakes or anything

I am trying to decide if switching to a different financial institution would be best for me.The last two weeks have been more frustrating working with employees trying to verify my employment, while we refinance our home.First (Tuesday) they waited to call two hours before a prescheduled refinance mortgage appointment. I expressed my concern during the appointment that sometimes my bosses are gone for a week at a time, and they should not wait until the day of for any member. To me these appointments are very important and definitely not a cheap process. I asked what would happen if my employers were unavailable..because they waited until last minute I cannot get my loan processed?Yesterday @ 9:30 am, an employee called me to tell me everything was ready to go, and expressed her apology for some of the nonsense that has happened. I was appreciative and hopeful.Then someome called my employer again today! Three days after my appointment to again verify my employment for refinancing ..so why call again today and ask exact same questions?!I called and left a voice mail for someone to call me and let me know where this process is at. I'm really disgusted at this point.

I was in contact with Derek Freis for a loan, at the end of the day he ignore my emails and no longer contact me to find out more options. Supposedly He would help me fill out the application for the PPP program, that never happened. A total waste of time, and lack of professionalism
