Bought some frozen fruit in a bag when we opened it the next day the fruit was rotten brown and black when back to the pig to return it they wouldn’t accept it saying that maybe i left it out that’s why it’s rotten, i bought the frozen fruit the night before morons

Today, April 30, I purchased Sharp Cheddar Cheese that had expired on March 4, 2025. As a customer, I expect the products I buy to be fresh and safe for consumption. This incident has left me feeling disappointed and concerned about your store's quality control.
I called the store and spoke to the manager, Montana, to inform them I would be coming in. Upon arrival, the manager was not at the service counter, and I had to ask Garrett to call him. When the manager finally arrived, he seemed very inexperienced and only offered excuses, blaming the stockers for not doing their job. He even said it's been awhile since someone complained about an expired product - WHAT??? As a manager, is it not their responsibility to oversee these processes and ensure customers are satisfied and not purchasing expired products?
The manager mentioned needing to check with the district store manager and walked away. After waiting for over seven minutes, I asked the service counter staff to call him back, giving me ample time to warn other customers about the expired products. The manager appeared unwilling to return to the service counter to address the situation, which left me feeling he may not be suited for his position, lacking both customer service skills and management abilities.
I hope you will take this matter seriously and implement measures to prevent such incidents in the future. Customers should be able to trust that the products they purchase are fresh and safe. Please ensure your staff checks the expiration dates on all products and maintains the highest standards of quality control.
Quality and shopping experience have really gone down hill since Fox Bros purchased this store....

The meat department used to be the draw for going out of my way to come here. It is all prepackaged walmart quality now with Sendik's price. Now I want Mayville to get an Aldi's.

I have shopped here for years, This is a great hometown store. Friendly staff. I usually leave with 2 carts full.
New ownership. I saw some nice improvements. It was my preferred store before, and still is!
PLEASE stock Knob Creek smoked maple! It's my favorite! ?

I normally shop here. The self-checkouts are usually a bit touchy, I get that. Today it was being unusually obnoxious, frustrating enough but I was getting through it. What I did not appreciate was the young lady attendant coming up to explain how the scale works in the most condesending way, like I was an idiot. (I'm aware of how these machines work, and that this one was malfunctioning). Being made to feel foolish by a highschool student because the store's machine was acting up, was not why i came in tonight. Do better, please.

Guess I won't be shopping here anymore now that it's changing over to Fox Bros.
I would pass 3 Fox Bros Piggly Wiggly stores to shop at this non Fox Bros store.
It's very sad they have a Monopoly on all Piggly Wiggly's in the area

The new shopping carts are too big and high. I am short and old. I find it difficult to put groceries in the cart and I feel like a child pushing the cart because of my height. I liked the old ones better.
