About The Audubon Inn (Formerly The Audubon Hotel and Event Venue)
The Audubon Inn is a quaint, charming, and beautiful historical hotel in a cool little town. The building is gorgeous and full of character, with amazing modern improvements like whirlpool tubs. Rooms are very clean, wonderful, and can offer a pleasant amount of space. The overall mood is calm, relaxing, quiet, and feels safe. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, amazingly helpful, straightforward, and great. They are known to go above and beyond for guests. The bar on the main floor is gorgeous, with fun bartenders. The inn is dog friendly with a reasonable fee. Amenities include free EV chargers at the rear of the building. There is a park nearby and a Kwik Trip a short walk away. Guests should be aware the inn is old, so some rooms have squeaky floorboards, small bathroom counter space, and may let in morning light due to a lack of curtains. There is not a desk person 24 hours, so checking in on time is important. Overall, it is a highly recommended place for events or a weekend stay, with many guests planning to return.
Beautiful old building. Would recommend calling to reserve, front desk available from 2 until 7pm. Coffee on each floor. Quiet area. Small dog friendly which was a plus! No handicapped entrance, but does have an elevator.
