Copper Falls State Park is a beautiful and awesome Wisconsin State Park near Mellon, WI. It is a gorgeous place with wonderful waterfall and river scenery. The park features well maintained and well marked hiking trails, including the Doughboy trail and a waterfall loop, with plenty of lookouts to take photos. There are many picture opportunities and birdwatching spots. The views alone are wonderful, including Loon Lake views and fall colors best seen from the observation tower. It is a nice quiet location to spend with family, with lots of parking and bathrooms available. There is a handicapped accessible area, though some trails are gravel. Dogs are only allowed in designated areas and are not allowed on the Doughboy trail. There is a fee to enter the park. It can be one of the busiest parks, especially during summer or spring, and provides an all around good experience.

This place is absolutely beautiful we have never been there before and thought we should give it a try. We are not hikers by any means but we did it and I will do it again in a heartbeat.
