November 14th 2018 3:10 p.m. I came to this bank because my employer wrote me a check from the company's account that is banking with North shore. I walked in and the clerk greeted me right away and came across extremely friendly. I handed her the check and my ID, the clerk in the next Booth over immediately clocked me and started racial profiling me or at least it's the feeling I got from her... questioning the check, questioning if it was really given to me and questioning if I wrote it myself. I just felt really suspect and racial profile. Went so far as to call my employer to verify the check. The problem that I have is I don't think any of this would have been done with the Clark who was originally helping me.. the second clerk try to claim its routine policy.. I am a very good judge of character and the whole entire time I was there it did not feel like it was routine. it felt like I was just picked out for being an African American male.... When something is considered routine it doesn't come across offencive and you don't feel like you're being put on the spot..... When I questioned the fact if they thought I was the one who wrote the check or there was a problem with the check immediately I was told (you can take it somewhere else if I wanted to)....for me that first response instead of ensuring me that it's just routine is a dead giveaway that it was racially motivated....I did get my check cash my boss did verify my check I did receive the money and I did leave filling pretty grossed out and discussed it.....I would like everyone to know this is my own interpretation of the events that took place today someone else might have not felt the same exact way and maybe it's possible I'm overreacting.... But deep down inside I feel like I am 100% right about being racially profiled I am treated unfair....

The hours say that the drive thru is open, which you would think indicates that there will be a teller to help via drive thru, but this is not the case. This should be specified.
