Anchor Moving Systems has changed management/ownership in the last two years since my last move and they no longer take exceptional care of their customer. The movers were disrespectful of my things. Freshly painted walls were marked up. I saw the movers drop boxes, and items were broke and damaged. Anchor refused to file a claim as I did not notify them in writing within 10 days of the move. I was two days late. I feel they use/hide behind the fine print in the documents they have you sign instead of taking care of their customers needs/concerns. I paid $200 for valuation coverage and they still will not file the claim for items damaged/handled by their movers not packed in boxes.Estimate/Invoice was not accurate as to the items needed for my move. My contact number was wrong on the invoice so movers were not able to contact me when they were not able to find the apartment. When I called the office on moving day to ask where the movers were, I got their voice mail which was not helpful.

I’ve used Anchor Moving twice previously and was very happy with their service and decided to use them for a third time.Unfortunately the third time was not the same. He was 100 percent confident that movers would be able to navigate the stairs and furniture pieces would fit. He was absolutely wrong and the movers told me he has put them in this precarious position many times to close the deal. He never apologised for being wrong and simply didn’t care that he provided a bad estimate.In addition, the movers didn’t prep new location as well as furniture completely. It rained heavily that day and they didn’t prep house completely to ensure it didn’t get destroyed.They would not provide any discounts for the poor service and demanded 100 percent payment, even though they broke a furniture piece, lost some bed frame hardware during the move, and caused some water damage to cushions and sofas. They ultimately fixed furniture piece via a 3rd party and replaced the lost hardware and was happy with result. However, I needed to pay out of pocket for cleaning the cushions that had water damage on them.I had to work with one of their employees, Suzie Mathews. She was extremely difficult to work with and provided a poor level of customer service. She didn’t really care about my customer experience and basically wanted me to go away and collect my check.I do not recommend Anchor. They have gone through some changes internally and from my perspective, just care about the sale not their customers. Instead of listening to their customers, they would like to tell customers they are wrong, disparage their character/family and argue with them. I don't think that is a successful long term business strategy.

This is my second move with Anchor Moving in the past year. I worked very closely with Evan who coordinated our move recently. Evan was patient, flexible and understanding due to some last minute changes. Our movers were Luke and Rob. They were professional, efficient, friendly and hard working. I would not hesitate to refer Anchor Moving to friends and family. It has been a pleasure working with everyone at Anchor. Thanks again for safely and efficiently moving our valuables!

I searched around for a local moving company, speaking with friends and reading reviews. Anchor Moving seemed to be the most professional despite the reviews on Yelp. Evan Rabas was the Anchor representative, and I recalled his name as he is was a professional golf champion in a past life. He was very helpful and Anchor’s prices were no higher than the other companies in town. The move went well, and the movers were professional and careful. I would not hesitate to use Anchor again.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. When moving out of my rental home, they damaged the drywall (hole in it), did not bring the necessary tools for basic furniture disassembly, and then temporarily lost the legs to my sofa. Took twice as long as my previous movers. Guys spent a lot of time on their phones. I paid a small fortune for storage and they were difficult about my move out date and then lost and damaged multiple expensive items. They were mostly non-responsive to queries and when they did locate an antique cabinet of mine, they sent it to me completely broken with no apology or offer of compensation. Multiple items were broken. They did not have a record of my items (I'm told that's illegal in WI). I got so frustrated that I sent a certified letter from my lawyer asking for compensation to which they NEVER RESPONDED!!! DO yourself A FAVOR and USE ANYONE ELSE!!!!!

Awesome job again! Anchor is our go to moving partners. The prep helps to avoid surprises. That is crucial on your move. However in this case the surprise came at the condo when the elevator was down for the day. This is where the great team “worked the problem”. My client was ecstatic with the quality, professionalism, and in this case, managing a surprise. Thanks Anchor

Anchor Moving Systems made our local move a breeze! We had never used movers before, but will definitely do so in the future. They were professional, efficient and handled our belongings with care. I would highly recommend them 10/10.

Excellent experience with Anchor Moving . Lots to move and lots was fragile …. only one thing got broken , and they were very responsive to the issue and FIXED it .I would recommend Anchor and Evan to anyone and everyone .

Anchor Moving is a real professional moving company. We had two different movers for our house and while the other mover claimed to be professional and has been around for decades the difference between them and Anchor was significant. Anchor took great care of our furniture wrapped it properly, had sufficient floor coverings to protect our new wood floors, jamb protectors and were courteous. The other company had no floor coverings no jamb protection and we had lots of damage to new furnishings. We will recommend Anchor without hesitation.

We were promised on the contract our items by December 9 and we did not receive all of them until December 13. Even though we reached out several times to Evan, Suzy and Mike Forrester, owner of Anchor in MLE, no one would return our calls. We were displaced for 6 nights. There were many damaged items. Our belongings were not respected. Many of the moving boxes arrived shredded with broken hands from being transferred so many times. We never received an apology or even a call to check in with us. I wonder how many they would feel if their family members were treated like this? Moving is stressful and we trusted our belongings to them and all we got in return was Louis Franzetti from the collections office saying "file a claim report. We are not responsible ". We wish we could go back 2 months and make a better selection of moving companies.

Not true to their word. Not responsive when we called and had questions. Our delivery was late by 6 days. We were displaced for 6 nights with a dog and had to eat out every meal. Boxes were damaged which resulted in broken items. When we reached out to Mike, Evan and Suzy they would not answer or return our calls. Lack of professionalism as well as just not caring about the customer. No follow through. What a way to run a business! Hope you all can sleep at night knowing you don't care about others. Think about treating your family and friends like this.

The movers were great! They worked hard and were careful with all of our items. They finished sooner than the estimate. And we’re very responsive and pleasant to work with. Would definitely use Anchor again!
