Always friendly, efficient and medications in stock. The lack of drive thru is replaced by curbside delivery. However, the handicap spots designated to wait are generally full leaving us wondering where to park? Luckily I generally have the choice to just go in.

I am not satisfied with the service I received from this pharmacy. I was getting my compounding medication from this pharmacy for years...and unbeknownst to me...the pharmacist changed the formula. The new formula is made with SyrSpend and this ingredient interferes with absorption of the drug/medication in the SyrSpend. The pharmacist seems paranoid if she uses anything else to suspend my medication in she will be arrested and put in prison. She literally said this to me on a phone call. I find this kind of paranoia unacceptable for a pharmacist. She also said something about the SyrSpend is recommended...but it is recommended because it is in some sort of partnership with the organization that is recommending the SyrSpend. That seems wrong to me. Like a sure way for SyrSpend to be making money while pharmacists are forcing this SyrSpend on us patients. I'm not happy about this at all...because I have not been feeling as well as I was before the formulation changed. Patients should be given more choices than just one ingredient for a compounded medication. That is the whole point about compounding medication...finding the right ingredients for the patient...but the pharmacist is like a dictator...forcing only the ingredients she picks on the patients. I transferred my prescription out of this pharmacy and my new one is using an oil to suspend my medication in. They offered several choices...one being water. There is no reason why this pharmacist couldn't do the same...except for her paranoia about being raided and arrested. Just terrible...with that attitude...she is in charge of the entire pharmacy.

Aurora specialty pharmacy might be the worst specialty mail order pharmacy I have encountered. I have used specialty pharmacies several times. The two times I’ve had them sent to Aurora has been the worst experiences. First I needed a medication post op topical for pain… it took 2 weeks. A little late. Second, they said they could get it to me in time if I picked it up from a local Aurora pharmacy but I can’t pay for it at the pharmacy at pick up…. What a waste of time. While I was in public they wanted me to give a my card number. While Froedtert specialty allows you to pick up from them directly same day and pay at the pharmacy. I work in health care I understand the ins and outs this doesn’t seem to be the best way to run things.

I utilize the Aurora Mail Order service on a regular basis. This is a wonderful service that is offered at no cost. The staff keep me up to date on my medications. I have not gone without my refills. Thank you

I’m currently going through the process of IVF and my insurance hardly covers anything but they did cover most medications. My clinic sent them all to aurora pharmacy and within days I was contacted from them informing me they were received my prescriptions and would be working on them. One tech in particular handled my order, Jamie and what a gem! He has been in constant contact communicating what’s happening and advocating for more affordable options for me. (One medication wasn’t covered at all at it would cost over 7k out of pocket another was 2k my total IVF was 11k including all testing, extraction, and implantation)We had a estimate in mind for how much everything would cost but the medication was a shock! He called my doctor everyday to work on finding alternatives and that 7k medication was reduced to 2k the 2k medication was reduced to 700. He saw they sent duplicates of one and saved another 150. I’ve never stepped foot in this office and the kindness and hard work that has been given to a stranger speaks volumes to the the individual and company they represent. I had to get some information pretty close to closing time and Jamie was in another call and another young lady helped me out. She was also very nice, patient, and helpful. Jamie actually called me back to make sure everything was okay and that I had everything I needed I know it was probably clock out time but he went out of his way to contact me. I’m floored with this pharmacy. My journeys not close to being over and having people help aide you in such a vulnerable situation is so appreciated.
