Terrible service. I was never able to reach the front desk or room service from my room phone. It just rang and rang and I tried over 4 times. I finally called from my cell phone to the main hotel number to get a person to answer me. Food was not worth the price at all from the restaurant. My soup came in a coffee cup which was extremely too salty. The Caesar salad was iceberg lettuce with too much dressing. I also asked if I were to stay another night what the rate would be,. I was offered same rate, no discount even after I asked. I ended up so frustrated I booked another hotel for my next night.Safety: No one answered the phones from my room phone. Ever.

First time at this hotel (Sunday night). Had an excellent checkin experience with the night auditor (Intl gal). They have a delightful “snack” room for at least Platinum and higher tiered Marriott members. Good prices. Near Menominee falls downtown restaurants and taverns. Plenty of no charge parking. We will come back. There is an indoor pool if interested.

Okay- so this is a mixed review. I'll start with the negatives and bleed into the constructive feedback. Oh the wifi... it's no existent and I have AT&T for my carrier, I couldn't get a signal in my room unless I stood outside or possibly by the window. Don't stay on the first floor! The pipes run through the walls and every 15-20 minutes you hear the water moving. It's like a loud gush of water. We didn't think much of it until it was time to go to sleep. In addition, our room was right against the highway. Again we didn't think much of it until we were trying to sleep. The shower heads are rain head that drop perpendicular to the floor. So if you only want to wash your body you have to be pretty flexible to keep your hair dry. The pillows are all feather down. Not my favorite but there are 4 on each bed. But other than that, the space was clean. The employees were nice. I'd stay here again on a higher floor with my own pillow.

I have stayed here many times, thinking that at some point, it will get better. The front desk staff typically is very unhelpful, especially a young lady in the mornings. She makes you feel like you don't matter for sure. The lady at the coffee bar in the morning is very rude to guests as I've witnessed. She discusses how much she can't stand her coworkers frequently. Maid service is hit and miss. I came in one day to find my towels just stacked on the bed, where every other day, they were hung neatly and my room felt like it was cleaned. Just all around a service issue with this hotel. When more Marriott hotels open in the area, I'll be staying there rather than this one.

Overall a good stay. Bed was comfortable and close to a client site making morning drives easy. Good onsite restaurant and bar. Hotel staff were friendly.Carpet is brown and stained in some areas. Parking is plentiful. Gym is decent. Towels were plentiful and soft. Missing shampoo in the large refillable shower bottles. Same condition with one of my work cohorts.The tree near the front entrance late afternoon / early evening attracts what seems like are hundreds of sparrows.

After arriving, waited 10 minutes and no service to check into the hotel for my reservation. Tried to download the mobile app to check in online, but it required an account to be created. Was going to call the hotel but Google did not have a number listed. After 15 minutes someone finally showed up and asked if we were there to check in...no explanation or apology. For the high cost of this place and the service received, go somewhere else.

Had an amazing service I would highly recommend. We booked a room at the renaissance in Mayfair Road and got such bad experience we immediately canceled and booked here at the Marriott . Rooms were clean the front desk were amazing their names were Kaitlyn and Mike 5stars to you guys . Will definitely stay here soon.

Our family's experience at this hotel was poor, mainly thanks to the indifferent service we received from its staff. We were part of a wedding block for a Thursday and Friday night, and wanted to stay the preceding Wednesday as well since we were coming from far away and needed to be there before 3pm check in on Thursday to make the rehearsal without stress. Online booking was unavailable for the room block, so we had to call the hotel; speaking to the desk agent, we were informed we could not book a 2 queen bed room for Wednesday, only a king, even though it was three months in advance. ("We are a business hotel," I was told.) Unfortunate, but not a deal-breaker for us, as we easily found another, cheaper hotel. So, I reserved a 2 queen bed room for our family of four for only the two nights on the wedding block. I called early Thursday to see if early check in was available; it wasn't, which happens from time to time. Unfortunate, but once again, not a deal breaker. Upon our arrival at the nearly empty hotel, I was greeted rudely by a front desk attendant who seemed very inconvenienced by our trying to check in less than five minutes before 3pm. We dragged our travel-weary young children to the assigned room, only to find it only had a king bed. Returning to the front desk, I was informed by a different desk agent that our reservation showed a king and thus the room was correct. Why, I asked, would I book a king for a family of four? The reservation was clearly incorrect, likely the result of the original agent I spoke to on the phone being confused by my Wednesday request. Regardless, the agent in front of me kept repeating that my reservation was for a king, and that in order to change it she required special permission from her manager. Even after getting that permission and being informed multiple times that the reservation agent booked us incorrectly, she continued to state how I, the customer, was lucky to get the change "since [I] booked a king," which I did not do. I've never felt so belittled and unheard by a customer service representative of any company, despite the fact that she did technically fix our issue.The new room we received was 2 queens, but had the worst water pressure I've ever seen in a hotel sink, making it impossible to either shave or brush teeth (I used the bath spigot for both). It was on the first floor adjacent to construction going on in neighboring rooms, likely impacting the water pressure. The room was fine otherwise and clean, but the pool, which our kids used, was dirty with algae or mildew or something which was all over the bottom.I am a frequent user of both Marriott and Hilton properties but this hotel has made me consider that I should go exclusively to the latter. I will most definitely not stay here again.

The bed was comfortable. The service could have been better. I got charged twice for my stay and it's already been 4 days with nothing resolved. I was told to call the third party I had booked through to resolve myself because they don't know how to deal with a situation like this. I've already made a payment online and got charged there during check in. When they had asked me to pay for deposit I didn't mind but I notice the total was higher than the deposit fee. I had mentioned multiple times that I made payment online but was told that it was just the deposit fee but alwhen I checked my bank I got fully charged for the room and deposit fee.

Rooms are clean and the staff that i came i contact with are nice. But heard differently from other people. Breakfast was good, but had to pay for it. That for me is a 4 star.

Would avoid this property. Room smelled of cigarettes and weed. Whole place looks pretty dingy. Toilet leaking onto the floor. Just an overall rough experience. I expected better of a Marriott branded hotel. Bed is ok and big TV. Only reason for even having 2 stars. Entire place smells horrible.
