Dunn County Pottery, is a working pottery, gallery and gift shop located in Downsville, Wisconsin, just minutes south of Menomonie, Wisconsin and within close driving distance of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Founded in 1973, we offer a nice selection of pottery for daily use including cups, mugs, storage jars, bowls, vases, tableware, and cooking ware. The pottery is exquisitely crafted from stoneware, porcelain and terracotta clays, then glazed and fired in a wood or gas kiln for a warm and varied effect. The forms are traditional and influenced by nature. We also have a variety of fair trade and locally made gifts. Our shop is open 7 days, visit us today!

I love clay, and I have found some sweet pottery at this charming place in Wisconsin. Next door to a retreat center, the store operates on a self-serve, honesty-based system of payment. I got to meet Bob, the potter, this time. Such a nice man! I went home with a superb new pie plate! See you next year!

Beautiful round schoolhouse full of John Thomas's fine pottery made on site and the work of other artisans, all available for sale....A spacious meeting room, also, with a wood floor and huge south facing windows!!!
