Walgreens in menomonie Wisconsin is a nightmare. Half the time you can get 5 different stories as to what the hold up is when trying to fill a script. You will wait on hold over half an hour. Staff is untrained. Switched all individuals that I pick up for to another pharmacy and wow. None of the we need this first, this med is not covered, etc. Just decent and quick service. Closing the menomonie pharmacy would be an improvement

Don't send your meds here unless you enjoy sitting on hold for a 30 minutes just for whomever answers to be utter useless and put you back on hold for another 20 minutes. If you go in, be prepared to wait. Even if it was supposed to be ready days ago, it's not. And it will take 30 minutes even though they tell you 10.And if you need your medicine daily - forget it. They average 5 days between when you request a refill and when you actually get to pick it up. But, the bottle will still say the wrong date, because of pure incompetence.Don't have your doctors send refills either - or they will try to fill both of them and then just let it pend for 3 days while you have to do the leg work to figure out what they clearly should have.And don't have a medicine that other people use. Because they will constantly be out and then that 5 day average will go up to weeks.Save your sanity. Save your money. Don't support them. They do not care about customers and it shows in the shoddy work they do.

Phenomenal team! With everything going on with medications right now, they never stoop to amaze me! Techs are always willing to go above and beyond. Including calling insurances, doctors, calling me when prescriptions won't be filled on time, or even when there is issues that need clarification. In the last 2 years I've been going through them it has been a wonderful, friendly environment. Highly recommend using this pharmacy!

Let me start this off by saying I work in a hospital pharmacy, I Have been waiting over a week for "clarification" on my script, my Dr stated they never recieved anything. When I stated that to the lady in the drive thru at walgreens, she stated that they faxed them very rude...I was on the phone with the Dr office and they stated they do not get manual fax, ONLY electronic faxes or phone calls...well the lady said "That's the only way WE do it" not once did they offer to call but said..."you can always call your Dr.....that's my last straw....I will be transferring to CVS....where the team actually cares about you.

Second time I have made the hour round trip to pick up meds and the pharmacy was closed for no reason. This time with THREE people inside just standing there inside. Then one time the lady pulled down the curtain after making eye contact and put up a closed sign. It was about lunch time and she did look hungry, so I guess that's a freebee.

Waited in drive-thru line for a very long time when I was the only person there. Watched many pharmacists walk by the window, but still received no help. A few pharmacists were just standing around doing nothing for over 10 minutes. Very rude and disrespectful and unapologetic attitude from brown-haired younger lady. Not a professional place in my opinion. I’ve always had a better experience at CVS

A young lady helped me yesterday w/blond hair and one line of eye shadow. I suffer from short term memory loss so things r super hard for me and this young lady helped me and she was the nicest person I’ve met in so many years!! She was so helpful and stayed w/me the whole hour I was in there!!Sooooooo kind to me !! And helpful!! It’s like she was my angel and still thinking of her today and wishing I could have back that hour she spent with me !!! I had a blast w/her !! I can only wish that I’d ever meat someone thats soooo awsome and kind and patient w/me again I really think she’s an angel (my angel) sent from above !!! I wish I new her name there’s a special place in heaven for people like her!!! I already want to go back to Walgreens in Menomoniee Wi the one on the corner at the stop lights!! I’ll never forget our special hour she spent w/meI don’t no how to go about going in there again and to make sure it’s when she’s working !!! Thanks so much for such a special hour that I got to spend w/this angel I could never ever forget her!!!Thanks !! It’s my honor…Ronda Barker

The workers themselves are GREAT! The actual business is a joke. The pharmacy is consistently making the same mistakes. How can that be even legal, when they are in charge of refilling and dispensing medications?!?! It's unreal.

If you have necessary medications that you regularly need refilled, _do not_ use this pharmacy. On multiple occasions they have been out of the medicines that my family needs, but they do not call to let you know that they're out of stock, so you may not realize that they're not going to fill your prescription until it's too late to have it sent somewhere else (i.e. before you run out of medicine).On two separate occasions they have sent refill requests to our doctor or veterinarian, and then failed to notify us when they didn't receive a response. Instead they just let it sit until I call in, and they basically say, "oh yeah, we're not even working on that, sorry."At this point I believe we have run out of necessary medications 4 times in one year because we called in refills well in advance, and they failed to tell us that they weren't filling the prescriptions for one reason or another.

Their service has gone downhill so badly. They screwed up the last prescription order, overcharged for non pharmacy items. I filled out their survey and stated I would like a phone call back. Never heard a word from them. With Medicare I have to switch pharmacies anyway so I won't miss them. It's too bad because I used to enjoy going in their, friendly staff, good prices and decent service. Not anymore.

It took extremely long to be helped at the pharmacy, even on a weeknight, and one worker was very rude.
