Barthel Fruit Farm is a beloved seasonal destination offering family fun and quality products. Starting in May, its greenhouse provides a vast variety of perennials, herbs, succulents, annuals, and vegetable plants. The farm reopens in September for fall activities, featuring tree-ripened apples for pick-your-own and pre-picked purchase. The season also includes pumpkins, pears, squash, apple cider, local honey, and a homemade bakery with items like apple cider donuts and highly recommended apple fritters. The farm provides a great variety of apples, such as Ambrosia, Golden Delicious, Red Ida, and McIntosh, with ladders available for picking. Visitors enjoy pumpkin picking, a corn maze, and a beer garden with games. The excellent little store sells delicious pre-picked apples, pears, jam, sauces, dressings, and other quality products with great pricing. It is considered a wonderful yearly tradition for family and friends, offering excellent fall family fun.
