This is by far my favorite Ace store! I absolutely love the new Mequon location. The customer service is outstanding—everyone is always so friendly, attentive, and ready to help. The store is spotless, well-organized, and has a great variety of items to choose from. I come here often, especially to get keys made, and they always do a fantastic job. Highly recommend this location!

Staff was helpful and knew the exact location on the odd thing I was looking to purchase. Man at the register was helpful and polite and we had a pleasant conversation.

Found everything I needed and it is always neat and organized. I am impressed by the service and help here. Especially John who helped me with my propane tank exchanges. Always worth the extra drive to go to this Ace.

Mobile pick up is back of store without bags.
I followed the email telling me my order was ready for pick up and went to the front of the store where I waited for five people ahead of me to be checked out only to be told mobile order pick up is in the very back of the store. Then I was offered my items without a bag because there are no bags in the back of the store. I suggested the mobile pick up should be in the front of the store and there should be bags. One of the purposes of mobile order and pick up is to save time. Mobile order pick up was in the front of the store under the prior owners. No more mobile order pick up at this Ace Hardware until it acts consistent with every other store in the market and has a convenient mobile order pick up at the front of the store. I do not recommend store.

Stopped here to get a fill on a propane tank. Such a nice, clean store with plenty of great staff to help with whatever you need! Plus free popcorn!! ?

Not the same ACE. Has lost its sense of urgency to assist the lost. Been in the new store three times since they’ve opened and have yet to be asked if I need help. Employees socializing amongst themselves without a look to see customers in front of them. Prices on comparable merchandise almost three times as much, as if they’re just making up prices now. I’ll give this ACE a year before they fold. Customers walking out the door right now saying “ nothing like the old ACE” lol

Great customer service, knowledgeable staff.
Pretty big as hardware stores go, good selection of products, but you don’t have to wander around for a half hour like in a big box store, because the staff are so helpful.
Hoping to get an electric lawnmower there.

Love the new store! So much space to see everything including larger displays like patio furniture and grilling. Always full of knowledgeable and friendly staff to make finding a solution for the handy homeowner easier. Sale prices and monthly coupons as a reward member are helpful in offsetting prices to compare to discount home improvement stores. Prefer to give local businesses. Also shop Menomonee Falls store and staff is just as excellent. Have purchased many items from chain saws to flowers at both locations.

New store is large and has a has a nice selection.
Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They usually have the things that the big box stores don't stock. And if they haven't had it, they were able to order it and get it quickly.
