Blue Bar Quilts is a welcoming modern quilting community and shop in Middleton, Wisconsin, with a focus on modern quilters and the fabrics they love. The shop offers an excellent selection of beautiful fabric at very fair prices. It is known for its incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, super friendly, and extremely friendly staff who provide wonderful advice and suggestions. They offer classes in quilting and sewing, including a great beginning quilting class, with a really nice setup for instruction. The shop features an exhibit space with interesting displays and supports the community through service projects. It is also a JUKI QVP dealer, stocking a full line of sewing machines, sergers, long arm quilting machines, an embroidery machine, and a direct to fabric digital printer. Customers find it a great experience and plan to return.

I discovered these guys after Joanns closed. They have a fantastic selection of quilting cottons, lots (and lots) of quilting patterns, and also a surprising amount of tools and notions!
