Gave me the wrong mortgage payoff information causing undue hardship, additional expense to me, and a complete waste of my time. They weren't very friendly and seemed annoyed that someone actually came into the bank in person.

I don't even have the words to express the gratitude to someone who works there. A close friend of mine was involved in bit coin fraud. Even though we all warned him, he still was going ahead with the transaction. Some beautiful soul who works there luckily was able to get it through to him that it was a scam. I want this person to know that what they did matters to people and they are greatly appreciated!!!!!!

I went to deposit I check I got for 100 dollars. They put it in the wrong account. Me and my dad have the same name and both bank here. Which is why I asked don't you want to see my I'd? To which they replied no we don't need that. They asked what account I wanted it I said my personal account the one that's linked to my debit card. I handed my card over and yet they still put the funds in the wrong account. Now I'm out 100 dollars and am livid.

I've banked with BMO for about 15 years now I have both my personal and business account through them. The teller today was absolutely rude with me when I was telling her which deposit went into what account (mind you I had a post it note with the same information) when I asked her for my deposits back so got very upset and said I'm just trying to help you! Well ma'am you are being very rude and very unhelpful

Terrible customer service, opened an account with them just to find out a month later they did the paperwork wrong. They called me to notified me of this and they would get the corrected paperwork ready. Never called me back and when I called them they said they would get back to me. Finally after 3 months of this they closed the account never notifying me they did this found out the day I went in to make a deposit.

DO NOT GET YOUR MORTGAGE FROM BMO. First we are told (in writing) we are approved then weeks later we get a list of questions from the underwriter that must answered immediately. I am getting on an airplane and was told to call them back immediately after I landed. Keep in mind I have plenty of verifiable income with more than 20% down. They could not even get the closing date or location correct. The list of mis-steps is long.

$5 surcharge for withdrawing cash for non-BMO customers! For shame! If you need cash, go to the gas station across the street, the ATM there charges $2.50(still too much but better)
