I have worked my way through the company since 2007. I even left for a few years to go to Epic then came crawling back as there is no place that compares to my family here at ETC. Even while I was gone, I came back to visit often to see the friendly faces. The Foster family and the executive team truly care so much for the employees and it shows. You will be hard pressed to find a more welcoming and caring group of human beings. This company is now 100% employee owned, unlike any other lighting company out there and we do a large majority of our manufacturing right here in Wisconsin and ship our product to projects located around the globe to be used everywhere from hospitals to The Sydney Opera House. Incredibly proud of this place and all the people that are a part of it!

My second time applying with this company. First time applying HR Eric told me that they reviewed my application and the manager didn't want to move forward with me. So few months later I seen another position post up and reapply they emailed me for interview and I did a phone interview everything sounds good but unfortunately after setting up the final interview they emailed me back in 2 days and said they no longer needed anyone for 2nd shift so I got rejected again from this company. I have qualifications for the jobs but got turn down again I will never waste my time on this company ever again in my life This place DISCRIMINATE me!!!

PROS - Laid back work environment, company gives free soda/juice/powerade/water etc, they have their own delicatessen.CONS - If you work the entry level assembly in the SMT/PCB department you will be laid off every winter and work through a temp agency. The manager Wade will lie to your face and say that he won't know about lay offs until September/October but you will end up getting a call in mid to late August that they are slow and don't need your services anymore. Also my coworkers in this department would steal my chair/tools on my desk and never put it back or even bother to ask me if they can use or barrow my things.

My husband works here, my son works during the summer's.. ETC is far one of the best companies to work for and to be apart of. Very family oriented and very speechless about how your treated there as an employee.. Everyone is so kind and generous.. This place is one of a kind just like the owner..

I interned here and had the best experience. All of my co-workers helped me get up to speed and were always willing to teach me. Also the lighting equipment is the best you can find!
