The app rarely works for the digital coupons. They only had one register open at 515 pm. It took me 14 minutes to get to put my food on the belt so my ice cream was melted before I left the store. The line doubled from when I got in it by the time I checked out.I try to not go to this store but the rate times I do, it's a strong reminder why I avoid it. At least that's consistent just like the staff that makes you feel dumb because their app isn't just friendly.

The produce section is greatly lacking. There is consistently moldy, mushy and gnat covered fruits and veggies. The rest of the store is typically well stocked and kept up

Great produce, nice selection of products and the staff is super personable.

The HR director Ibraham was extremely rude and created such an unwelcoming environment. I asked for a job and was immediately shut down for no reason. We talked on the phone about me getting a job here and when I went to him, he kept lying to my face about not talking to me at all. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

They lack in the produce department, but everything else is good. What Metro Market also needs is more outdoors and office supplies.

The produce department is mediocre compared to other local grocers. One can often times find rotten fruit and wilted greens.Rarely do I see an employee actively maintaining the department when I shop there, usually weekday early evenings.I also notice that the dairy section is in a constant state of low stock/restock.The store is generally well-maintained, and the staff is usually helpful.Rolling around this store in a wheelchair can be challenging, often times there are barriers and obstacles to work around. It’s a good enough store to go to in a pinch, but definitely not my first choice in the Madison in Metro area.

For a company whose commercials are literally only about how fresh fruit and vegetables are inspected to ensure the highest quality, I am shocked at how metro market has the worst produce in the entire Madison area. Almost always find produce that’s unbelievably old with mold.

Lots of fresh deli, produce and bakery items! See picture for a small sampling. They have super fresh produce. Even their marked down produce is very good. In the Deli, my favorites are the salmon and oven baked chicken pieces. They also have great jumbo shrimp offerings, that come in ready to heat or cook in the oven or microwave. The special aluminum pans are safe to use in the microwave (no sparks!) Great for last minute dinner options!

Nothing especially bad or good. Prices are the same as at any other large grocery store in the area. It is not a bad choice if it is convenient for you to get to it, but it’s not a grocery store you should go out of your way to find.

Good as long as you don't buy produce. To hard to find place to put cart in produce section. Hard to reach organic produce

After the 3rd package of spoiled ground beef in under 6 months, declining selection, poor produce and higher prices - I finally made the switch. Metcalfe's it is; the prices are only a touch higher but the improvement in shopping environment, selection and freshness is unbelievable. Treat yourself - and your wallet - and go elsewhere. Thank me later.

This place deserves no stars. The produce department is deplorable! They sell full price (read, EXPENSIVE) items that are ready for the compost bin. Today they were selling full price green onions, but they were all old and wilted. The same story throughout the produce department. They are stocking fewer and fewer brands, charging more, and the quality is horrible. Selection is next to nothing, forcing you to buy the premium brands or nothing at all. The employees have horrible attitudes for the most part and no one seems to care. Someone, please, send a new grocery store to Middleton!!

Rude persons, inconvenient. They removed the baskets for shopping, so you cannot grab a few things conveniently anymore. If all you need is eggs and coffee creamer and maybe one other thing, now you have to either incorporate one of the cumbersome carts that decrease walking time and mobility extravagantly, OR you have to juggle the few things that you need and cannot make any impulse buys, making the whole experience annoying and unenjoyable. If you ask any employee about a basket, they act like you're not worth the effort if you're not buying enough for a cart.I'm very mad and I felt very disgusted with my treatment. There are several other grocery stores in the area that I will go to for my few items as well as cart fulls from now on, obviously I have to get out of the habit of using this establishment since I'm not welcome ALL of the time.Sad, an end of an errand era

This store is very bad! The employees are rude and the place is run down. More than 50% of the time the meat and deli departments are closed and the selection of items has gone down hill. I spoke to the manager and he acted like he could care less about his customers. Just walk in the place and you can see that all the employees wish they were not working in this store.

I would give it a zero if I could. The produce section is now set up so that you can’t pass around, you are stuck in a maze of garbage cans, produce set ups, and often workers restocking. I stopped shopping at the one on mineral point several years ago for the same reason.
