Friendly and knowledgeable service writers and great technicians. Never had any issues. The local Ford dealer doesn't even have a Quick Lane. Tried them once for a simple oil change. They tried to sale me everything including the kitchen sink.I live in Cottage Grove. The drive to Middleton is worth it..

The place was nice and clean with a nice sitting area to wait. The customer service was also nice and friendly. What was not nice was the greasy oily handprints left on my car and on my steering wheel from the oil change technicians. I have a 2012 mustang that I keep clean and detailed. There was no regard given for that. I found handprints on the A-pillar where the technician grabbed it to pull himself out of the car, leftover oil drips on the fender, and dirty hands on the steering wheel. When the technician brought the car out of the garage to give it to me he didn’t use the door handle leaving oily prints on the door where he touched it. I understand it’s a it’s a shop and that I’m getting an oil change done. What I don’t understand and the reason, for the two star review is the lack of respect for somebody’s clearly well taken care of vehicle.Service: Oil change

The discount Works package offer when buying a vehicle at Middleton is not worth the hassle. Even if you have an appointment, you're guaranteed to spend at least an hour and a half before you can leave again (at least there's a couple fast food joints within walking distance). As another reviewer commented, they'll try to upsell you on filters you don't need. How do I know? I changed my own engine air filter the week prior with a genuine Motorcraft filter, and they claimed it needed to be changed already. No response when I called them out on it. Also, always check to see if they screwed your antenna back on after washing your vehicle... they have been known to forget. There are better, faster places in the Madison area. The other places are worth the extra few dollars it may cost.

Would have given zero stars, if possible. Was told a two hour wait, and ended up being there 4 1/2 hours. Go somewhere else!Service: Oil change

Disappointed...I specifically waited a month for an appointment and when my vehicle was finished, it took 20 minutes to get to paper work to me so I could leave. NOT a quick Lane!

Liars! Classic bait & switch. Ordered a plug-in hybrid Escape on 11/25/22. We were told it would be delivered in March/early April, and that we would get updates every 45 days no matter what. We didn't get updates. I would have to call, and my salesman would call me back about 1/2 the time. Then, when it was May, I got a call from them (on 5/12/23) saying they had one arrive that someone else backed out of. He said it was the package we wanted, only a different color. We decided to take it. When sitting down to buy it, the price was now $41995 instead of the $39995 that we were promised IN WRITING! It's funny how they didn't mention that on the phone! When I pushed the issue, they said "no, no that $39995 price was for the one YOU ordered. THIS one costs the price promised to the customer who backed out (even though it was the same package!). Ok, so let me get this right, a car ordered BEFORE mine cost more?! So I said, "If I were to wait for the one I ordered, then I would get the $39995 price"? Yes, they answered. So, they originally said I'd get the car in March or April. It was May, and after asking me to compromise on the color, they UPCHARGED me?! Also, they tacked on a service fee ($299), just for my trouble. You would think, in good faith, (aside from keeping their word), they would honor the original price. When we bought a Hyundai Tucson from Zimbrick, there was an error on the car we ordered. The full package version came in rather than the basic one we ordered. They let us keep the price for the basic version without even having to argue. Neither I, nor my friends, nor my family, nor anyone I know will ever go here ever again.

Although they are usually busy, the service is attentive, efficient, and details do matter- they wash your car before it returned to you!

Slowest services I have experienced. After 4 hours my vehicle is finally done and the lady at the register tells me I’ll have to wait a while until she gets to the paperwork, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else unless you like hanging out drinking free coffee and water all day.Service: Oil change

The Wednesday before Christmas, I ordered a new tire (got a flat the night before) and these folks had it delivered and put on Thursday morning. So grateful they got my vehicle moving again before the holiday weekend! It did take longer than I expected, but this was during a blizzard (!) so I should've known better. Oh and they also took out my battery for a bit to restart my navigation system (must've shorted out in the cold). Thanks so much again Middleton Ford and Quick Lane staff!Services: Battery

Almost 10 years coming here and for the second time had to wait nearly 6 hours for an oil change when I was told it would only take about 2 hours

This review is coming after being a loyal customer to this Quick Lane for >10 years and is a culmination of my experiences with the business. After today, it's unlikely I'll ever use this business again.I came in for "The Works" which is an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection. I had a coupon for a $39.95 works package. After 2hr 30mins I was told the vehicle was ready. My total...$74.38.Me: "Why the extra charges?"QL: "There are no extra charges. That's the price for a full synthetic oil change."Me: "Well, where's my $39.95 coupon?"QL: "It's applied. That's the discount that's applied to your total."Me: "Huh? So why am I paying over $70?"QL: "The coupon is valid for synthetic blend oil. The manufacturer of your vehicle recommends only full synthetic. That costs more."Me: "That's an incredibly deceptive business practice. Don't you think you should have notified me BEFORE the service that it was going to cost me more? Or given me the option for synthetic blend?"QL: "No. I expect that as the owner of the vehicle you know your vehicles requirements and so know what you'll be paying for."Me: *jaw hits the floor* "Ok, if that's how you're going to run your business, so be it." *pays $74.38*To be clear, as the vehicle owner, I typically do NOT know the specifics of what my vehicle needs. That's literally the reason why I pay a service center to care for my vehicle. If you're a consumer in need of vehicle service and are reading this...go elsewhere. Literally anywhere else. You work hard for your money and deserve better.Services: Tires

Having my oil changed by a professional at a dealership also helps to catch other problems that might need attention; and provides extra confidence that everything is ok.
