I love shopping at Willy Street Co-op. They're just a bit more expensive than I would prefer, but there are many ingredients I come for that are harder to find at a typical grocery. They also have a lot of programs to help alleviate the cost of you're low income and use EBT for shopping. One of our favorite features is the seating area past the cash registers. My daughter thinks we have to snack on something there every time we shop, even though this isn't a practice of ours at other grocery stores.

Recommend! Everyone is very knowledgeable and you can find pretty much everything you want. Great atmosphere and benefits for shopping here.

Favorite grocery store for dietary restrictions! They always have non-dairy and vegan options as well as ethically sourced meat and produce. Decent selection for candles, skincare, and vitamins as well, although some of their "health" items are a waste of time and money. It's about what you would expect at any health foods store, just watch out for dubious medical claims on some of their products. The co-op itself is great.

They are great for organic food and vegetables and offer discounts for joining them and as far as I know to be a member still only costs 10 dollars.

Friendly staff, great selection of produce and grocery. A lot of stuff available in bulk and is great for folks who may want to make more environmentally friendly choices.Had a lot of plants in spring that all worked for me when I transplanted them.A big selection of chocolates, some home cooked style hot bar and a decent selection of "healthy" sweets.

It's a great little neighborhood market but not some place I would shop if I were on a tight grocery budget. I just bought a 3 lbs bag of russet potatoes that cost $7.49. Typical price at a mainstream grocery store is 89 cents a pound, or less. Brown rice is $2.50-$3.50 per lbs at Willy's. It sells for $0.85 a lbs at a regular grocery store. The employees are wonderful and very helpful. They have a very good selection of just about everything. Their seafood is excellent and about as fresh as one can expect for the Midwest.

Love all the organic produce choices especially the local produce. The store is clean, organized. Wish there were healthier food choices in the buffet.

Great gem in Madison/Middleton. Lots of local, huge bulk section, fresh produce and everything in between. Membership was inexpensive and you are always welcome to shop without if you are not inclined to become an owner.

very expensive..when mentioned the response given was food stamps. little does Willy's coop know that most people had their stamps reduced to almost nothing. especially the elderly. quite a snooty response. food prices are sky high for decent food. mind you food especially good food is a necessity and not a luxury. the attitude of Willy's coop grieves me. seems like all Willy's want is money for their pet charities and not for the ordinary poor.
