Used to be a great place to camp. Not so much anymore. Bathrooms are disgusting. Roads are horrible for walking, huge pot holes. Management is the worst it's ever been. Cabins are disgusting and falling apart. Pool tile is falling off into the pool. Don't waste your money.

They overall experience for this place was pretty good. We stayed in a very nice cabin that was right next to the pool, which was nice, but unfortunately, it wasn't really the cleanest inside, and the beds were awful ( I see what all the reviews were talking about for the beds). 3 lakes to pick from if you like fishing, swimming, or going out on a boat. Golf carts are pretty decent priced, and just about every campsite has one. They have cool events that go on every few hours if you want extra things to do.Rooms: Rooms nice, but the beds in the cabin are awful.

Dirty showers and bathrooms, campsites. No management on site and no one not even employee in office knows how to contact them. Left a total of 7 messages within a 5 day span, no call back. They are members of Good Sam Club however staff doesn't know so no discount as advertised. Left early, still no call back. No reason for your automatic response. It shows you don't care. What a shame!

Tried to cancel a reservation due to a sick child and was still charged the full amount of the stay.Unreal. I offered to pay half or at least get some discount and they quoted me policy. Will NEVER stay here.

Ok campground or RV park. Sites very close together, nothing special no internet connection. Opened the electric box and a wasp nest was in there. Can't get them on the phone to save your life. I got charged 95$ a night on fathers day weekend. That is just plain greedy and unreasonable and the one star I gave reflects that greed.

Communication from management is lack there of, no activities really planned for the summer was told that they need another year, office manager kept complaining about last years staff. They can't even figure out their pricing on an emergency pump out.. contract states $100 Management sends out an email stating $150. Trees keep falling on campers and throughout the property and corporate and Management arnt even taking the time to have a specialist come out and maintain any of the trees even though many seasonals have put in tree request forms. Upping the lot rent almost $800 to have not maintained trees and lack of activities is not ok. Additionally with upped fees throwing gravel in potholes instead of fixing roads is what they do. They are all about the dollar and not making this a happy place for people to escape to. Don't let the Google 4.3 fool you should be less look at the trip advisor reviews!

For someone staying at the campground that’s not a seasonal camper this place was just meh… Camp store was barely open and the activities for the kids were lacking. Most of the facilities were dirty and not well kept. We visited in late August so be prepared for yellow jackets. Overall this place could be way better if they put forth an effort to keep the place up. Positive note is that the some of the sites are rather big but you don’t know what you’ll get because they pick your spot.

For tent camping it was okay. Seems like it is more suited more for trailers/mobile homes. Campsites were riddled with gravel paths for trailers to to parked on. Site signage is very confusing and water/power is not in great locations. for these sites. Security was very strict about quiet hours which I appreciate having young kids. Bathrooms were a mess for most the weekend. No toilet paper for two days and were pretty filthy.- garbage all over floor. We were there for the trick or treating activities and it was amazing. Residents really put on a great event and the kids loved it. Playground was really nice as well. Cabins looked really nice from what I saw. It was quite a party for all ages. We would for sure go back.

The campground itself was very nice and well maintained. Pool area was closed but it looks nice. It's October and chilly. The park was mostly empty, yet instead of putting us in a nice sunny pull through level spot, we were put in a back-in ahaded spot that not very level. The sewer hose had to go uphill ????♀️ which is a real problem. Blackhawk - don't book Site IV50Also no WiFi.

After two stays, it’s clear this is a party place. Every single night was a loud mess. Quiet hours are not respected and security doesn’t care. Racist site names don’t help. The second day, staff didn’t answer phones. No wifi. This place needs some serious help - landscaping would help. As well as updated electrical for every site. We had to connect to another site for power? Ridiculous.

I had initially been worried about our stay here, but after the drive down the hill and turning in i was relieved of that. Place looked fine for us. Read the signs for where check in is, as it could be confusing (needs a stop here to check in sign). It is a beautiful campground with trees and lakes. We stayed for a week to work, relax, and unwind.

I booked this campground through Thousand Trails, however it is part of the RVontheGo.com campgrounds. This was by far the worst campground I have ever stayed at. I should have known there was going to be issues when the confirmation letter did not have the phone number. I tried to call several times prior to arrival and was never able to get someone to answer a phone . When I arrived there was no one in the office as their hours are extremely limited. There was absolutely no information as to where I should park or what should take place. This campsite caters to permanent residents. There are only 28 overnight RV sites. I talked to 2 of the permanent residence. One said just park anywhere and they will come find you tomorrow. The second told me where I should park for the night but told me not to unhook or set up and to find a spot tomorrow after talking to someone in the office. This is crazy. If I didn't want to unhook and set up I would have stayed in a Walmart parking lot. I did not do that. I found a spot that was semi level and made that home, expecting someone to find me the next day. That did not happen. I was unable to connect up with anyone in the office as they had such limited hours. The bathrooms were absolutely unusable. They were so dirty. There was stuff on the shower floors and I have been in outhouses that were cleaner than the bathroom stalls. In addition, dogs are not required to be on leashes and that created a big problem with my dog since I require her to be on one. There are a lot of children living in the RV park so the pool was always packed. There was only a couple of RVs so during the week it was quiet. T-mobile cell service was good and Verizon was okay.

Me and my family had the worst trip of ourlives here and we will never be returning. When we first got there we had to call staffright away because we were being attackedby bees then that same night a staff hadharassed the kids by almost running themoff the road with a golf cart. If you do notstay here seasonally then you are notwelcome. There was absolutely nothinggood about this trip and our family couldnot wait to pack up and leave. Also, the AC inour cabin had stopped working and staffblamed it on us. They did not know how tofix it we ended up fixing it ourselves. I do notrecommend this place at all!!
