Anytime I have a challenging home project I head to ACE instead of the larger hardware chains like Home Depot, Lowes, etc. I get immediate help from employees that are either seasoned at their craft or have a little bit more experience. At the time of this writing, I had a plumbing problem that I just couldn't solve. I'm a mechanical engineer so I'm a hands-on d.i.y. person. I explained my problem and right away he (Doug or Charles?) understood the problem. He saved me at minimum of $80 for a plumber just showing up at my door. Thank you, "Lisbon Ave Ace Hardware" team!

I made a purchase of some batteries. On my way our of the store, I saw the sale of seeds from this year. I found 5 packages of dill seed. I was going to purchase them and the lady at the cashier said that they would be an early Christmas gift. I was very happy. She is also interested in supporting the environment for the raising of butterflies. The dill is food for the larva and caterpillars of the black swallow butterflies.

Walked into Ace hardware on 6/5/2024 maybe around 10:15 a.m. the cashier Matthew was checking out Caucasian customer and was having a nice conversation with him. There was no hi, welcome to Ace, I'll be with you in a second, how can I help you, or anything said to me. After Matthew got done checking out customer I was next in line. Mathew looked at me not saying one word at all. I waited, he waited, i waited, he waited still not one word. He just stood and looked at me. I then proceeded to walk out store feeling hurt, very unappreciated, asking myself why did I just get treated like that. This is really concerning to me because I felt so unwanted. There was no customer service at all. I came in needing help like every other customer comes in for assistance. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE AGAIN AND LET OTHERS KNOW NOT TO SHOP HERE EITHER. THANK YOU MATTHEW
