I was very happy with having my new fireplace installed. Brian from Heritage Fireplace was actually the only company that gave me great ideas to save some money. Brian and his crew did a very great job on the install and custom made tile just how I wanted it to look. The whole process went very smoothly with no problems. I highly recommend using this company!!

I've had so many contractors over the years with countless home improvement and repair projects and this was perhaps the best contractor experience I've ever had. The project involved installation of reclaimed Cream City Brick around our fire place. Both Fermin and Brian were great at providing me with various options and the installation team of Matt and Chris were fantastic. They were on time, on budget. I must also add that I had explored this same project with a competitor and had a terrible experience and much of it involved how, what I wanted, couldn't be done. The competitor was quite wrong and I'm currently staring at phenomenal and beautiful project finished by American Heritage Fireplace!!! I highly, highly recommend!!!

Great experience! American Heritage installed our fireplace in 2018 and have been great with that experience and service experiences. They were even able to save us on one service visit with some simple troubleshooting help via email!

Fantastic experience!! We are so thrilled with our new gas insert! The only thing we are unhappy about is that we did not do this sooner. We thought we loved our living room, but the addition of this clean sleek gas fireplace has transformed the entire room and ambiance. Every person we dealt from the sales to installation was super friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. THANK YOU we love it SO much! Sara and Jimmy

Horrible company with terrible customer service. Takes forever to respond. Once you do get an appointment, they don't show up when they say they will. It takes a negative Yelp review to get their attention but they never replied to me email, much less apologize. Not a dependable company.

Really a huge waste of time and money. I initiated a service call in January and had to call repeatedly to get someone to come out to look at my gas fireplace. It took 3 visits to diagnose. All covered under the $165 fee. But, wait...what about my time? Claimed I need a new valve at a cost of around $500. The valve came in July and they wanted me to pay for the part before they would put me on the schedule. Having low trust already I thought I should wait to do the repair when it gets colder so I can see if it fixes the problem. The symptoms changed and I spoke to the manager who said he stands by his diagnosis. When I repeated that the limit switch wire had been loosing its coating and had worsened he told me that I should have another company fix it that he was done. Made clear to him that when I adjust the limit switch wire it works fine. Glad I didn't buy into their diagnosis for the expensive fix. But, as I said no consideration of the amount of my time wasted with them and I'm out the $165. I did call another company and hope they are more accurate and professional.

Great experience. Had a fireplace makeover. Work was done on time actually earlier than originally informed. Derek and Nick who did the job were the best. Derek is meticulous in his work and he and Nick super nice guys. Would definitely recommend this company and have you request Derek and Nick.

American Heritage does not honor their verbal quotes. After being quoted $100 for a replacement remote for my fireplace (which they serviced and installed for years), I was charged $200 for a service call and the remote (after paying for a service call weeks prior). At no point did anyone share w/ me a second service charge would apply (because the technician did not have a remote during the first service I paid for). Their business office and a "Fuhrman" does not represent their business well at all. I'm disgusted. Don't be disgusted yourself. Use another provider.

I called to have my fireplace serviced and was told the soonest appointment they had was six weeks out. I reluctantly took the appointment and waited. On the day of the appointment the two service techs came out and said the fireplace needed a part that they didn't have on their truck. They said someone would call me that day and schedule a new appointment. No one called. Over the next 10 days I called numerous times and left messages, but no one ever returned my call. I find this incredibly rude. Wasted two months waiting for this company.

Better than fire place unlimited in my opinion. Not a lot of places that sell fire places the people here are knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. Many choices
