I love Benihana, But my food on March 7th, 2024 was bad.I was initially going to get a carryout, but because it was empty in there around 8p.m., I decided to eat downstairs. The cook put absolutely NO SEASONING on my food, not to mention I asked for my steak medium well, but it was ALLLL the way well.I told my waiter, (who was very nice), and he had the cook re-make my steak, But it's just an inconvenience, especially when your bill is $58 for one person. It wasn't the waiters fault, so I still tipped extra, Even though the gratuity was already added on the bill.I love Benihana, but this was THEE WORST food I've had from there.

The food is delicious. Very accommodating to special requests. Service is great. Faster than other Hibachi, they were considerate of knowing that our table was going to the Bucks game. They provided extra attention to our daughters birthday and made her feel special.

Table for 11. Quick to get to table but long wait for menus, then long wait to order drinks and then even longer to receive them. Then even longer to get any food. It seemed like our waitress was the only one there running 5 large tables. The whole process took about 3 hours until we left. 2 alcoholic beverages, 1 sushi, 2 Beni Hana trios and one added lobster tail with the 20% added gratuity = $280

I am giving one star because I can’t give less.It was a very disappointing experience. We went for dinner with my husband to celebrate my birthday. I wish we would have gone somewhere else or checked the reviews. To start, the place look old and dirty. I order the yakisoba noddles with shrimp and every meal is 5 dinner course. So they brought us to all of us in the table a miso soup, a small bowl with salad (tomato and lettuce) like 3 spoonfuls. Then the Chef grilled shrimp for everybody and gave us 3 small shrimp to each of us. Followed by some grilled veggies, that were just an onion and 2 zucchinis for 6 people sitting in the table. He grilled them and gave another spoonful of those to each of us. Mine only had onions and two pieces of zucchinis. Ok all good if you are going to have a nice main course. The chef forgot the sauce for my noodles and he kept calling someone that never came. So he went to ask for help while my noodles sat in the grilled for long time getting dry. Finally the sauce came, and he put tons of it in the noodles. The sauce tested good but it is a sweet sauce so if you put too much is not good. I couldn’t eat the noodles. My husband dinner was ok though but we paid $150 for me to eat a miso soup, two spoonfuls of lettuce, 3 shrimp and a few grilled onions. What a birthday dinner! On top of that my husband mentioned my birthday when he booked and when we were sitting the chef asked if someone was celebrating anything special. My husband mentioned it again. There were 2 other tables that they celebrated birthdays. They sang happy birthday and gave them something special, I imagine a piece of cake or something? Not sure because they forgot mine and I got nothing. I wish we would have gone somewhere else.

I always get their trio. (Benihana trio *filet mignon, chicken & shrimp) It’s so flavorful, fresh savory and overall just premium! Try the mango lemonade it’s fire as well.

It's always fun to go to Benihana. The service is great, the food is delicious, and the show can't be beat. I ordered the filet mignon medium rare and the chef got it just right. We will be back.

Went here as a valentine's date on 2/15/24. To start with, the greeting host never sat up from leaning on the front counter on his phone to check us in. Not once was eye contact made when telling us to wait at a table until we're called while still holding his cell phone. Restaurant is absolutely filthy throughout both the first and upper floors. The only noticeable clean area is the grill top itself thankfully. Waitress was fantastic and very consistent with service. Unfortunately, even though the cook had a great personality, the food was a flop in many ways. Timing was terrible and spaced apart so everyone's noodles and rice were cold when they finally got their meat selection. If you got a second or third meat your prior selection was also cold. You couldn't eat your food together as a full meal unless you wanted cold food mixed in with your last serving. Also, the cook asked everyone how they wanted their red meat, and then proceeded to just cook everything the same to well done as he kept scanning the order slip over and over. Overall, our chicken and steak was incredibly dry. Very thankful for the house sauces we were given at the beginning of dinner. The only meat that wasn't dry was the shrimp. Finally, if you're going to add a gratuity for every single person just make the prices what they need to be to reflect this. I heard every table around us talk about that same topic in shock as it's ridiculous to list one price, and then in fine print at the bottom of the menu in a dimly lit restaurant state an added gratuity for every single customer no matter party size.We are two customers that definitely will not be returning to this establishment.

There last night for our anniversary dinner as both of us remember the restaurant name providing a better experience. The place seemed cheaper now with no real atmosphere. The chef provided good food but nothing overly worth mentioning and got one person's food wrong. He missed all of the "tricks" that are part of the presentation, and kept slapping the chicken which sprayed all at the table with either juice or oil, not sure. I was at the front of that and got sprayed on my face with it. He also kept saying the same 2 jokes through the entire presentation. Initially people went with it but after 5 min of that we were over it. Meanwhile the valet had to pull me away because he couldnt operate the vehicle and somehow locked the key inside. I wouldnt be bothered by this part as my car has some peculiar controls, but I asked him if he is aware of how to operate these, and he said yes. It's not any one part of the visit that leads to a poor review, as things happen. It was the total of the entire visit. We will not return. There are better places to go in the surrounding area.

A full tray of drinks hit the floor a table away. While just an accident, there was no apology or follow up. Quite a few of us got wet. Needless to say, that was about the extent of our drink service. Had to get up twice to scout for another round. Also had to hunt for soy sauce and a dish for my sushi. The food was so-so, and we stunk the next day still. Ventilation was sub-par compared with other hibachi experiences. Unimpressive in a word - and that is before factoring the exuberant prices with automatic 20% gratuity imposed. That automatically lowers the bar. The cook was quite pleasant. Find another place to spend the evening. Save a shower and save a hundred bucks (at least).

We had not been to a Benihana for years but always enjoyed it. We were worried when we got to the restaurant as it seemed deserted. But then we went upstairs where the dining was. Food was great.
