This store never opens at the time you have to open always open late and always close early never at the time you have to close, plus customer service is nothing professional.

Today, I set out to buy a cell phone for my 86-year-old father. Hence, a flip phone! We ended up at the Boost Mobile inside El Rey Foodmart on south 13th and Burnham. Let me begin by saying.......Have people forgotten the definition of providing good customer service?! When we walked in, the Rep was eating (something) and throughout our entire interaction. Yay! The flip phone was available. Then she says there is a $15 activation fee. Why? Can't you just swipe SIM cards? Apparently not. So I asked if the fee can be waived because he has been a loyal customer, is a Senior and is on a fixed income. She checked in the computer and then says she is unauthorized to waive the fee. Not a problem. I then asked if she can ask her supervisor. Her response: "She's busy." Wait! What! Her response just threw me to the North Pole! Ok, I'll just go somewhere else since you do not have time for your customers. Now we have an attitude adjustment and she tells me that she does have time for her customers, picks up the telephone and calls her supervisor. Sorry folks, the fee could not be waived. The icing on the cake......come back to speak with the supervisor if I had further questions and the Rep was unsure of when she would return to the store. I'm done! Dad and I walked out and went to the Boost Mobile on 5th and Mitchell. BEST customer service ever! I did not get the gentleman's name, but not only did he give us a discount on the phone, but he also made it a point to speak directly to dad, joked a bit and was respectful as hell! Here is what I have to say about reviews. Sometimes you believe them, sometimes you don't, and sometimes you just say, ahhhh, it won't happen to me. I wish I would have read the Google reviews! Why do I give reviews? Because too many of us do not take the time to write one, hence, wasting our valuable time and money. The apple does not fall far from the tree. In other words, your employees are a reflection of you!

I called the store to ask a question. When i asked the question she hung up. I had to call back multiple times to get an answer. I asked about the hang up and she completely ignored me. So i said never mind I'm going elsewhere.

The lady is very unprofessional and spends her time on her phone texting. What kind of service is this? apart from that some security there try to fight me for no reason lol. How very unprofessional they are pathetic. Please dont come here and consider going to a different boost mobile store.
