Unimpressive. I had the soup and sandwich. The soup was old, and the ruben’s toast was fried and burnt black on the edges and super greasy.

Was searching for a good spot to grab some good local food before heading back home. This place is cool to hang out and outdoor seating looks nice. Food was just okay.

A classic place to dine in for breakfast. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a great menu for everyone to enjoy. Only wish the servers were more attentive, but overall, very kind. We will be back for more delicious breakfast and lunch!

I think Café at the Plaza has to be one of my all time favorite, if not favorite breakfast places in the city. Whether you’re sitting at their art deco diner counter, watching your food get prepared right in front of you or dining in their towering ivy courtyard, there’s just something special about this place. Situated in an old, art deco style hotel, Café at the Plaza’s food is always fresh and tasty, they have diner staples like pancakes, omelettes, eggs benedict oh and out of this world hash browns.But don’t take my word for it, come and try this place yourself!

This cafe is a must to visit in Milwaukee. The retro atmosphere is unique and nostalgic. Food is reasonable, delicious with ample portions.

Our first visit was certainly not our last. I had the traditional eggs Benedict which were very well prepared and filling. I was very tempted by the shrimp and grits....next time. My wife liked the traditional breakfast. We both enjoyed sitting counterside and watching the food preparation. Coffee hot and plentiful. We'll be back...Go early or be prepared to wait, we went on a Sunday prior to 9. About 20 minutes for 2 of us, after we left the lobby was very full.Art deco hits my soft spot and its very present throughout the entrance and diner area. I can't imagine trying to cast the crown mounding in plaster.No idea if the rooms are similarly adorned.A very pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Wow! What a gem. Stayed at the hotel and breakfast was phenomenal. Best breakfast burrito. Highly recommend stopping here!

Good place for breakfast or brunch. They don't have homemade bakery, but they do use local vendors & farms. It is a good go-to place that is consistent.

All I can say is that Wendel is amazing. He made sure that everything that went out to tables was 5 star. This was my first time, and all I can say is that the service and food are incredible. Other guests are friendly and inviting. I had the build your own omelet and a bloody mary. Both were awesome. I came alone for brunch after church. I will be back but bringing others. Thank you for the 5 Star Experience!
