I was traveling from Illinois to Grafton WI to visit my Aunt when I had a slip mishap on Hwy 43. I rang the door bell to the church and I was greeted by a very pleasant person. I asked if she had a maintenance person who had any tools I could use. She proceeds to get her tools and she actually did the work on my car so that I could get back on the road. She is living the Christian value of helping your fellow neighbor. I can't thank her enough. It makes me feel good that there are people in the world that go up and beyond to help anyone in need. God bless her and your parish.

My mother and I attended Divine Shepherd as visitors on Sunday, and loved it! Our greeters, Walt and his wife Marge, made us feel so immediately welcome, as did many other parishioners who introduced themselves to us. The music was lively and impassioned. So too the flock singing their hymns of praise.
Pastor Dan gave a beautiful sermon "Do I Have to Go to Church?" that seemed to speak directly to us in a memorable, meaningful way. The atmosphere was casual, comfortable, inviting, and engaging. We left with a sweet 'guest' gift bag and a heart filled with inspiration. Thank you Divine Shepherders! We will certainly come back when we can.

As I was rushing to reach my Freeway Flyer at 7 this morning, I was greeted by some friendly faces from this church and they gave me a bottle of orange juice and a business card that read"Just for you...just becausemay this small gift brighten your day. Please know that God loves you. We are here to serve you!"Very thoughtful and a nice way to show the love of our Lord and Savior to total strangers while meeting a practical need for AM bus commuters at the Whitnall Park Ride
