Downtown Books Bought & Sold is a very cool, quirky, and amazing bookstore described as a book lover's dream and the closest thing to Hogwarts in Milwaukee. It feels magical with floor to ceiling books in stacks, bundles, and piles, creating winding maze-like passageways. The wide selection is very well organized yet overwhelming, with every genre possible, including great options for children’s books, comic books, and a record collection. It has fair prices and an eclectic collection, though it can be hot inside. This fun place is worth checking out for both locals and visitors passing through.
I LOVE this place. I am from a Chicago suburb and Milwaukee is a quick and fun day trip for me. I go here every time I go up to Milwaukee. SO many books, good prices and nice owners!

Such a fun bookstore! All the aisles chock full of used book treasures; it's like something out of a book itself. Also, very organized for as much as they have. Would definitely visit again.
