I really wanted to leave a better review, but my experience was incredibly stressful and disappointing.
I brought my car here to repair my back bumper after an accident and was told it would take two days. Instead, it turned into nearly two weeks of silence and frustration.
After two days with no update, I had to call multiple times just to learn they were waiting on a part - something they never communicated to me. This pattern repeated all week: no one answered or returned my calls until I left multiple voicemails. I had to keep extending my rental car and never received proactive communication.
By the time they said my car would be ready, I went to pick it up at the scheduled time only to find the shop locked with no one answering the door or phone. I had to leave for the airport without my car.
Later, the manager finally called, apologized, and explained that they were understaffed, had delays with parts and insurance, and admitted they were fully at fault for the lack of communication. He asked what they could do to make it right, and I asked them to deliver my car to my house since I was already out of town. He agreed and said it would arrive the next afternoon, but once again, there was no update or follow-through. After another day with no response, I sent a message expressing my frustration and saying I’d escalate if needed. The next day, he said he’d “left his phone at the shop,” so could not update me on the latest delay. The car was finally delivered that evening.
I appreciate that they eventually took responsibility and delivered my car, but the overall experience was incredibly stressful and unprofessional. The complete lack of communication throughout the process was unacceptable.
I don’t want any small business to struggle or shut down, and I understand things happen, but I was incredibly patient and feel like my kindness was taken advantage of.

Horrific experience!
Ruined my car, caused extensive damage
Wouldn’t acknowledge responsibility for damages caused by east side auto
Avoid like a plague!!
If you want to be safe on the road stay away from this shop!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I brought my Van to be fixed by them. Paid for the whole breaking system to be replaced which cost me a pretty penny. I was fine with the price tho. The problem is while fixing my breaking system they messed up my break booster. So I can't even use my Van because my breaks won't push down. When my husband informed the owner, he offered to help by solving the problem for a very cheap price. But he failed to inform us that his workers caused it to be damaged and now we're in need of a replacement(We found out from Midas that it was their fault) We've been trying to get in contact with the owner but he's been dodging us about fixing the problem. I do NOT recommend coming to get your vehicle fixed here.

My son’s alternator went out on his car unexpectedly. I talked to Mo on Friday at 5:40pm and the repair was done immediately the following day, on a Saturday! Very competitive price too! Very happy with the service provided and would highly recommend! Thank you!!!

Being a woman, in a big city, it's always challenging to find a place to get your car fixed. One that's respectful, honest, does good work and cares about their customers. Eastside Auto is that good, safe, honest business...wish I found u 20 yrs ago. Really grateful now, every single time.

We agreed to do the timing chain and they lied and used random screws and stripped the oil pan and the engine and the car failed again within two months and overheated.

Incredible service! I had a flat tire and brought my car in 15 minutes before close, expecting it would get fixed the next day. They dropped everything and got my tire fixed immediately and I was back on the road in no time. What a relief - thanks East Side Auto!!

I called and was told to just pop by same day for a seemingly simple issue on my car. An employee was outside when I arrived and immediately assisted me, looking at the issue with me and identifying the fix. He was very kind and informative. Everything was done within ten minutes. I had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend them!
