Why can't I rate 0 stars?!? This company sucks. I've been trying for 4 months to roll my retirement into a new company. Empower put me on hold for 45 minutes with someone breathing into the mic then hung up and sent me to their survey. NEVER USE EMPOWER

Beware of this company. Please read the reviews. They try their very best for you not to transfer your 401k after you’ve left your company. They have made my experience really difficult. Absolute the worst of the worst.

This is a troublesome company. They manage the money well but make it difficult to withdraw. Obtaining documents or support on time is almost impossible. Will put you on long holds or transfer and calls will disconnect. Does not provide online chat or emails to communicate.
