I have super curly hair that I’m still learning to manage and Carson has been super helpful in teaching me about my hair. She's also done different color styles on me and I have always left feeling and looking my best! Carson cares about my hair as if it were her own, when talking about color she was honest and kind about what would look best and the best plan of action to keep my hair healthy. All the staff here are so nice and welcoming and I highly recommend this place. Many of my coworkers go here as well and we all sit at work talking about how we love Freya Salon

I've been going to Freya Salon for almost 2 years now and I am so happy to have been connected to Lauren! I have really curly, hair (2C-3A type curls), and Lauren knows exactly how to cut, color, and style my hair. I went from black to red, and now brown and I am loving my hair. My hair always looks so refreshed and smooth whenever I leave the salon. Lauren is so patient and willing to give her clients exactly what they want. I love her honesty about how certain hair colors or hair styles will look on different hair patterns, textures or colors. I don't think a lot of people realize that not every hair style or color or curling pattern is made for your specific hair-- and I think Lauren does her best to give her clients what they want. Thank you Lauren!!

Abigail is so much fun! Whenever I come in we have the absolute best time. I felt right at home the very first time I sat in her chair, she taught me how to do my hair and is always happy to answer questions. She never makes me feel bad for not knowing how to style my hair, she's just super sweet about it and teaches me like that cool cousin who's just excited to see you glam up

Josh at Freya is absolutely amazing!! Not only is he kind, but he is a pro at the Deva cut and always makes my curls feel so rejuvenated, healthy, and fresh. I would highly recommended him for any curly girl hair cut!

My stylist was nice....I was super excited to have someone who specializes in cutting naturally curly hair. I waited about 3 weeks for what I hoped to be the perfect cut....I absolutely hate my haircut. My fiance asked what I had done at the salon as it looked the same as prior to the cut....& $115 plus $20 tip??? Soooo disappointed! My hair looks like an ugly mop...I will be going back to my previous salon for a WAY less expensive, more satisfying experience!

I’ve had Sarah do my hair twice now and have been absolutely obsessed with how it turned out both times! I have super thick hair and opt for a balayage and have had questionable experiences in the past from stylists who don’t know what to do with it all. Sarah has done such a wonderful job both times, she works efficiently & gave me the exact cut and color I was looking for. I’ve gone from being a light brunette to a blonde with such a natural blend and have not stopped getting compliments from everyone I see since she did it Wednesday!
I really trust her with my hair, and she’s the first stylist I’ve ever gone to more than once because I’m so happy with how she does it. She’s also super sweet, and easy to talk to! (PS Sarah - if you’re reading this, I finished iron flame and am devastated)
11/10 recommend Sarah to everyone who asks!

Abigail. Abigail. Abigail. If you want a shag haircut, you go to Abigail. If you want a fun razor cut, you go to Abigail. If you want the dance moves and a lovely conversation accompanied by song, you go to Abigail. Do you understand?
Both of these cuts were done by Abigail. I would 10/10 get both of them again. Inside of me are two wolves that are actually just these two haircuts.

I had the BEST experience with Freya Salon, specifically with Abigail! I had not done anything with my hair (other than trims) for 30 years. I wanted a change that would help bring out the curls I KNEW were hiding in there! Online booking was very easy. I was warmly welcomed when I got there, and had a great consultation with Abigail before getting started. She really listened to what I wanted, and gave great advice and insight based on her experience. It’s been 3 weeks, and I am still LOVING the result and get compliments frequently. I have been a “hair up” gal my whole life, and am loving being a hair-down (but still low maintenance!) gal now! Abigail knew exactly how to keep my length but bring out my curl with layers and texture.
Freya is also just a great business to go spend your money and time! They have great people, great energy there, and they do a lot to make their work as “green” as possible.

Carson has been doing my split dye for a while, and of course she absolutely nailed it in her new setting here at Freya! I absolutely love the atmosphere of the salon, and Carson made me feel cared for and heard through every step of the process, as she always does. I can’t wait to come back, I already booked my next appointment! I would definitely recommend Carson, and Freya in general for all your hair needs!

Really loved my experience here, Carson did a lovely job, per usual! She’s the only hairdresser I’ve been going to for 4 years. We talk about the vision I have for the color and cut, and I’m always super happy with how it turns out! Literally any color or inspiration I’ve had, Carson has made it happen. :)
