This place is an institution, I've got but good stuff to say about this place. Friendly staff, great variety of foods, delicious treats, and they even offer cooking classes! A family friend takes their cooking classes, and our Easter dinner was several courses, super flavorful, and all thanks to Gloriosos! They aren't doing indoor seating but their deli counter is still open. Highly HIGHLY recommend the vegetable arancini, they are out of this world. Or if you are looking for something grab and go, you can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches. Glad to see their taking COVID-19 seriously. Masks required, social distancing encourages, foot prints on the ground for guidance, snd plexiglass separating the cashiers from the customers.

Was out of pastry before 9am and said they would not be making any more today. Large assortment of pastas but the bakery staff was very rude.

My boyfriend's favorite dessert is tiramisu. Upon the recommendations of others, I chose to buy one here for his birthday. Holy crap! I'm so glad I did. It was beautiful, clearly homemade and shockingly delicious. The added chocolate bar with "happy birthday" written on it was well worth the extra $5. I ordered and paid online, and my sister-in-law picked it up. Seamless.

Eh. Last time I was in... I bought some "fresh" garlic that was clearly not so fresh. Everything I purchased tasted kinda stale and old.

An Italian gem of a market. From grab and go to fresh produce to meats/cheeses, pasta, sauces and a great wine selection.

Not great with following up on email forms sent but their food is amazing. I adore their lasagna both meat and veggie.

Best grocery store in Milwaukee, hands down. Quality is 10 out of 10. Doesn't need a huge review because it's that good. ( grab some meatballs and stick them in your freezer, you'll thank me later. )

I can't begin to say enough good things about Gloriosos. The service is impeccable, food is beyond delicious. Only challenge can be parking. Be prepared to take a little walk.

My husband just brought a pizza home from Glorioso's - a bake-at-home one. It is the worst kind for me - it is a "I can't stop eating it" - it was that good - NO! ---- absolutely deliciously awesome!! Hubby grew up "down the street and around the corner" from "Trios" the name of their original restaurant. Has been shopping at their original store and now their deli for years. Everything is great and delicious! Travels from City of Franklin to Brady Street whenever we are in the mood anything Italian. Thank you Glorioso Family! Diane Czerniak

Going to Glorioso's is always a five-star-decision. This specialty food store is great for all of your Italian food needs, from wine and pastas to meats, cheeses, baked goods and fresh produce. However we most often stop here to take advantage of their delicious deli options! We popped in to grab lunch the other day as my husband was craving their Italian beef sandwich, and he definitely got his fix. I hoping for some yummy soup but ham and potato was on special that day, and that's really not my thing. Instead, I had a delicious and flavorful salad. It was my first time having the Sicilian Salad and I would 10/10 order it again. The herb roasted chicken was tender, mixed in with greens kalamata olives, marinated artichokes, red onion, capers, grape tomatoes and red wine vinaigrette. Yep, a win. Also, A+ for updated safety precautions.

Great Italian specialty food store. Pasta, wine, sausages and meats, deli options, cheeses and fresh produce. Really good sandwiches and gelato. A classic Milwaukee institution. If you have not already been here, why the heck not? Side note: Please check new hours/ regulations due to COVID-19.

This Italian grocery store is a fresh stop for meal staples that you won't find at a big box store. Fresh bread, meats and soups are worth the stop. I also love that they offer their soups in the freezer, it was perfect for creating a care package.

We've had good sandwiches from Glorioso's early in the summer, but it seems there was a hiccup or downturn in the quality of food recently. We ordered the Milwaukee Muffalatta, prosciutto and caprese sandwiches and a greek salad. The muffalatta was good, seemed fresh. The prosciutto sandwich was lacking in flavor and in substance (felt like bread with no seasoning) and the vegetables inside weren't fresh. The prosciutto was understandably not excessive, which added to the lack in flavor. The caprese- which has been tasty in the past- was cold (supposed to be a warm sandwich) and didn't seem very fresh and lacked flavor (maybe needed more basil? salt? not sure). The only saving grace was the greek salad (with chicken), which was super fresh and tasty, giant artichokes and fresh cherry tomatoes, the chicken was seasoned perfectly and was also fresh. The best thing was the amazing accompanying vinaigrette dressing. They have curbside pickup and put it right in your car. Will try again once COVID passes.

I'm in love with this little market! This market is so cute for a lunch date. That is exactly what my partner and I did. We placed in order at the deli and then went shopping for pasta making for the evening. We ordered the fig & proscuitto flat bread, meat balls, and spinach & ricotta calzone. The fig and proscuitto flat bread was delicious! Each bite had a little bit of everything. The calzone flavor was a miss but the breading on the outside was perfect. I'll have to try a different flavor next time. The meatballs lived up to the hype of all the other Yelp reviews. I'll definitely be ordering a side of those again. Don't forget to end with dessert as well. There are so many cakes and pastries to choose from. I got the Italian Lemon Cake which I didn't find too lemony and had great balance with the yellow cake. You'll find all your classic Italian favorites here! All the ingredients for pasta making (semolina flour and 00 flour), wine, and cheese & charcuterie. I also picked up a frozen goat cheese ravioli which was a miss for me. I can't believe I haven't been to this market sooner but I'm so glad it is a regular stop now.

One of my favorite spots in town to find unique items. This is your local italian grocery store, but also has a number of items ready made or they will make many items for you on demand in their deli. The sauces are a bit pricier than your normal grocery store sauces but they are EXCELLENT and worth every extra penny. There's also great gift boxes at the holiday time and an excellent selection of cheese and italian desserts.
