Large place. Bring a beverage. Or regret that you forgot to bring one.
Clothing, shoes, books, hard goods too. But by far, it is mostly clothing. Mostly adult clothing. No furniture. But they did have some bigger items, like suitcases.
Plenty of carts when I arrived, which was a weekday afternoon. But for some reason, 4/5 carts I tried were messed up and wouldn't move.
There was a Goodwill security truck parked in the parking lot. Wonder what that's about.
Weighed the clothing when I got home with two different scales. Yup... as I suspected... definitely overcharged. Which is kind of messed up, because the whole point of going here is to get a smokin' deal. Don't get me wrong, I still got a deal, but I did not pay the rate as advertised on the signs for clothing.

Cashiers are wonderful. However, There's a few employees that get absolutely crazy. There's bins and they wheel them out. Once they're on the floor I figured ok you can look at them. Well I was looking at an item and this employee chases me down and screams "No! You can't touch the things until I say you can!" And yanks the item out of my hands and throws it into a bin. I'm shocked and have no idea what I did wrong. A customer says the bin pushers get territorial and you have to bow to them or you're tossed out of the store. That's crazy. It's not even store open its literally 3pm. Still good deals here but occasionally some craziness.

I’m speechless! Took my daughter here for her birthday. So many attractive sexy cute and fun guys (?) standing around! The reviews had me scared at first, but I must admit, may be the most fun I’ve had since my divorce. I found almost 3 full pant . one for my daughter, 2 for me. I even finded a green shirt. Although the quality of items is much higher at the Racine location (1630 Enterprise Dr
Sturtevant, WI 53177) - there is still plenty of fun to be had watching these athletic hunks pull seemingly thousand dollar t-shirts. Clear walkways, interesting smells & endless smiles. Will hopefully be coming back for my 4 month anniversary! Thanks goodwill
Industries.

The group of guys that are at the bins are great! Very friendly, kind, well behaved sexy young men! Very well dressed, groomed young men! I have no problem with them besides security who does nothing when people steal from others carts or steal from the store in general!

The checkout process is silly and inefficient. Budget 10-15 minutes to checkout. You must empty every item from your cart and transfer it to the cart on the scale. Then hurry up and put everything back in your original cart as the next person in line watches and waits to start their checkout process. At every other location you can keep the cart you are using and it's a breeze to checkout.

The aggressive young men (boys) that run throughout the store, block other shoppers, and are extremely rude when new bins come out is out of control. Today I was looking a bin while the ones behind me got replaced and a someone stood right next to me and would not move even when asked. Please do something about this.

terrible have only been to store once will never come again . Bins are like going through trash and then to have to weight the items is crazy, Who bright idea to change the format?

I am SO fed up with this place. STOP LETTING GROUPS OF GUYS CROWD THE BINS WAITING FOR FRESH ONES TO COME OUT!!!! Groups of 15-20 young dudes constantly stand around just waiting for the fresh bins to be rolled out. They are rude and obnoxious. Throwing stuff, kicking stuff around the floor, lining up carts blocking bins some of us want to shop in, and even sitting IN the bins. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS! Why do they get to block bins from us actual shoppers. Experience totally ruined and I’m not coming back!!

Too bad only a group of young men can get to the new bins that role out and with only allowing one person per bin they dominate. One person sorting through a bin at once is ridiculous.

I don’t understand how my total came out to $80 for such few things in comparison to going to the other outlets where I purchase a basketful of items for $50. Also they have a mysterious BASKET sitting on the scale that you MUST put all of your items in. If the basket weight doesn’t matter, I should be able to use the cart i already have my items in right. Something really scammy about the place and I’ve been going to the other outlet for the past few years.I have never encountered such Shenanigans also people don’t respect one person to a bin rule, I can see a fight brewing at anytime. Make it make sense. I just want to know why is the price higher??? Who knows??Update:I went to the location a Second time which will be my last….i literally found a worker and ask why were they holding a “weighted” cart on the scale and she said that is what they decided to do. And i told her sinceI’ve been doing thrift flips for years and never seen prices this high per pound so I KNOW some funny business is going on. Also thrifters need to keep calling in and complaining we are not unknowing to the fact of how pricing per weight should go. I know for a fact each time I go to other bins I get a cart filled with clothing only for $50. It’s been this way for years and the price has not changed, but for this place you will NOT get this. I added a pic of just shoes, 9 pair for $36. Please be fair or shut down. Or be transparent about this weighted mystery cart you have sitting on the scale.

Please do something about the groups of guys that stand around and block all of the bins waiting for the new ones to be put out. It’s super annoying and rude. If they are standing and not shopping, then at least don’t block the bins others are wanting to shop in!!! Also, please do something different at the checkout- why oh why do you make us take everything out of our carts, put it on the cart on the scale and then back in our own. I waited to checkout for like 20 minutes the other day because the guys in front of me had 3 carts overflowing with shoes. So annoying and if you just let us put our own cart on the scale this could be avoided!! Not sure I’ll come back to this location.

If you are an individual with a disability, stay far away from here. They do not treat individuals with dignity and respect. Goodwill of SEW discriminates against individuals with disabilities.

Now that it is an outlet, I’m inclined to state that I have found some greats bags, books and boots!

This place isn't a regular retail store. They just have large bins of clothing and shoes; everything is mixed together and piled up. You have to sort through everything yourself, and at the end, they weigh everything and goods are priced per weight. My first time there, I was extremely confused, and it was bizarre. They do have signs on the walls that explain the situation, but there also seemed to be some unwritten rules / expectations among the regular shoppers there. There are clearly regulars who all seem to know each other and go there to load up on items to re-sell. So, if you have time on your hands and want to hunt, it could be fun, and prices are good compared to a regular retail store. Just know, it's not a traditional retail experience, and it takes a lot of time.
