Online banking is always glitches. I've had charges hang pending for well over a week before being processed. I've also caught the $35 overdraft charge for a mere 62 cents. Wish they would grant some forgiveness sometimes.

These people ruined my perfect credit. Had an auto loan. Paid it off in full in 2020. Two years later they reported that I owe $42 and haven’t made payments in over two years. I didn’t make payments because it was paid off and I received the lien release. ?My credit went from 860 down to 707 because of this incident. I filed a dispute, and they removed it from the credit report. But it still shows derogatory and my score has not gone up and it’s been almost 2 months. I would never do business with these people again. They are crooks. I am really angry that they ruined my perfect credit. This is the only derogatory thing on my credit report and it was removed because it was a ‘mistake’ on their part. It should’ve never been put on there. They never notified me that there was any balance left. Not once. For two years, they marked it down as missed payment. Now, I have to figure out how to get my credit restored, which takes time and money. I think guardian should pay for it because they ruined it. I wouldn’t trust them ever. Stay far away from these people. You’d be better off at a bank.

Genuinely the worst banking experience I have ever had. Refinanced a few years ago and it took 8 months - losing our shot at the best rate. Escrow was messed up and we got to enjoy the surprise of a $500+/hike to our monthly cost - absolutely no effort to work with us or take any ownership for the mismanagement. Multiple years in a row they've been late in our tax payment to the city. Customer service is on par with the DMV. Use a loan shark or shady cousin before these folks for your banking needs. If I could move my mortgage without incurring an additional 2-3 points of interest, I'd pay for another refinance just to be rid of the terrible experience.

Their west Milwaukee Guardian branch is not a BBB accredited business, so watch out, they will OD fee you into bankruptcy , though they have worked with me and refunded OD fees in the past, however, when they are sitting on a deposit made on 9/22 and they won’t clear it till 10/5. So, a bill comes out and BOOM, another 35.00 in their pocket. UGH!

Take your business elsewhere, trust me I regret signing for auto loan with them. This place is a joke and they purposefully make their, "online banking," nearly impossible.

I went through the drive thru at the west milwaukee location. I needed to deposit $830 to my business account. The woman who took my transaction said, "Do you need to deposit? " I said "yes". She responded with a very rude tone of voice with, "Well! It's gona take me a minute to deposit all this." When she sent back the deposit receipt, She didn't bother saying one word. Very unprofessional and I know counting money is part of her job. If she wants to complain about counting a large amount of money then she should find a different job.
