About Happy Endings No Kill Cat Shelter
Happy Endings No Kill Cat Shelter is one of the oldest and largest no-kill cat shelters in Milwaukee. It is a completely volunteer-led shelter and an asset to the community. The shelter focuses on giving cats a second chance, promoting their health and rehabilitation. It provides a secure and loving environment for cats until they find adoption or fostering into loving, "furever" homes.
The staff and volunteers are beautiful, loving people who truly love every cat. They are very nice, great, very informative, and very attentive to each cat's needs. They take time and a special approach, understanding what home each cat would be best suited for. Through programs like "Socialization Sponsors," they work with cats daily to build trust, resulting in well-socialized, secure, and confident cats. The shelter also provides medical attention for sick or injured cats. They ensure the cats go to safe and well-equipped homes, making the adoption process easy and worth it. Many highly recommend going here if looking to add a friend to your family.

Amazing staff who are compassionate, professional, and dedicated. They helped a
cat owner who was recently
widowed and facing a very
difficult cat care issue. We
are deeply grateful.
