I had an exceptional experience renting a Tesla from Hertz Downtown, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Faith, the car rental manager. From the moment I walked in, Faith greeted me with professionalism and enthusiasm. She went above and beyond to ensure that my rental process was smooth and efficient, providing detailed information about the vehicle and its features. Her expertise and knowledge of the Tesla made me feel confident and excited about my rental choice for my business trip. Faith's attention to detail and excellent communication skills truly set her apart. I highly recommend Hertz Downtown, especially if you're looking to rent a Tesla, and commend Faith for her exceptional customer service.

Booked car. Was refused. The format of our company credit card (initial + surname) wasn't the same as my passport (firstname + surname). Wuh? Supervisor/brainless corporate robot agreed with this insane idea. Cost us two hours of wasted time as we had to uber to the airport to rent from Enterprise.

I don't know what's going on with all the poor reviews here, but I'm starting to think all those people just have a bone to pick. The location is conveniently right in the city center, the check-in process is smooth and goes quickly, and the prices are affordable. The rental was only a year old and clean, and it had excellent gas mileage. Plus, I had the best interactions with the two ladies working at the front desk; they were very personable, asked questions, and ensured I was cared for.To top it off, on the day of my rental return, I was running behind schedule, so I made a quick phone call to extend the rental for a few hours. They handled it without a problem, and I wasn't even charged extra—truly outstanding service. The only thing that could be improved was if the after-hours drop-off instructions were clearer. I was confused but figured it out.Overall, I recommend renting from this Hertz location; don't listen to the complainers!

Horrible service and ridiculous policies! For the second time today, we arrived to pick up a car we booked through the Hertz website more than a month in advance and were told they had no cars available. No "we'll switch your reservation to a different location." No "we can get you a car tomorrow morning instead." Nothing. Only "You can call and make a new reservation at a different location." When we called they offered a different location way across town and said that car would be almost twice as expensive as the one WE ALREADY BOOKED AND PAID FOR MORE THAN A MONTH AGO?! Makes absolutely no sense! Imagine booking a hotel room way in advance and upon arrival they tell you, "Sorry, we're all booked! But, if you want to go to our other location an hour away you can reserve a room for double the price!" Asinine. Never renting from Hertz again!

My son has rented a car at this Hertz location and didn't receive the car either time. The first time, they called a few hours ahead to say there was no car. Today, they told himthey had no car when he went to pick it up.It's much like the Seinfeld segment. They know how to take the reservation, they just don't know how to keep the reservation. Anyone can take a reservation...the real point is keeping the reservation.

I had a rental car confirmation, showed up at the predetermined time. I was told they had no cars available at all. I was stuck. Hertz, do not send confirmations if there are no cars available! This was extremely inconvenient and very inappropriate.

I absolutely love this location. Everybody is very nice and friendly. I love Faith, she is such a sweetheart very professional. Her customer service is wonderful. I’m not sure of everybody else name because they’re pretty new to me. They’re also very nice very professional customer service skills is wonderful. The whole team is wonderful and I love how they treat their customers and Faith knows me by name downtown campus. Keep up the good work. From Maranda Parker

Hours state they are open until noon and when I showed just after 11am there were many people waiting and no one from Hertz was there.

There was no car available when I went to pick up. Customer service was so rude and offered absolutely NO other resolutions or solutions to help us. They said they tried calling us to let us know it was cancelled but I did not receive any notification whatsoever. We had to hurry to the airport after booking an Enterprise rental quick and that experience was amazing! So shop Enterprise and not Hertz ?

We booked a rental in advance to make an important weekend trip - they called an hour before to cancel the reservation because no vehicle was available. No help at all in attempting to find an alternative and even hung up on me. Never again!

They canceled on me 15 minutes before my reserved pickup time because they had no cars left. Absolutely appalling, I have zero intention of renting again from a company that will let you reserve a car weeks in advance then just give them away and let you know mere minutes before the pickup time.

They left my bestie stranded there and had the audacity to say there was a cancellation fee for the reservation she made but they did not supply. They claimed no cars were available, none coming back in and basically to look elsewhere. This is the worst place, do not trust them here.

Listen to the negative reviews and rent elsewhere. They will not have the car you rented in stock and will charge you more for a different vehicle.
