A bit disappointing. The beds were horrible. It is like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. We checked in the evening, not much effort was made to explain, shuttle, parking, and breakfast location/hours. When you walk in and the clerk is kicked back with feet up on a counter, not impressed. The breakfast itself along with the morning staff was great. I can't say I would park and fly from here again.

We always stay here whenever we get to Milwaukee to visit our kids. Josh on the late shift provides awesome customer service. Scott in the breakfast room is also customer friendly and is a great story.Rooms: We had a king room and came with a mini fridge, a desk and a lounger.

Overall, I’d give this more like a 4.5 but Google only lets you do whole stars. The pool was pretty good although the splash pad part was larger than it needed to be. I did see people walking around and straightening up which was good to see. Lobby and breakfast area were neat and tidy and the people at the front desk were so nice! Very friendly service. The reason I’m taking a [half] star were the beds. The most uncomfortable, wiggly beds ever. At one point I thought my spouse was mad at me and thrashing around, but no just rolling onto his other side. It may as well been a water bed. That said, the rooms were clean and spacious and so affordable. We’ll be back!

Our family of 5 booked a suite. When we arrived the elevators were out of order. I am in a wheelchair so I couldn't do stairs. They comped me a room on the first floor but I need my family to help me dress, use restroom, get in bed Their room was on the second floor. They had to go up and down the stairs. The phone in my room was across the room instead of by the bed. No bars to pull up from the toilet. All rooms should be handicapped accessible. It would have been nice to all be on the first floor. After our 4 day stay it turned out that it was comfortable and the breakfast was alright. One day good the next not. The internet desk was convenient in the lobby. The swimming pool was to shallow for teen or adult swimming. The manager was very nice. She stopped and asked us if everything was alright. They had to order a part for the elevators so they didn't work the whole time.Food & drinks: The breakfast was good some days and on Saturday the sausages were not fully cooked, the cinnamon rolls were hard.Noteworthy details: At least they gave us a room. The hotel was nice, quiet, employees friendly and rooms clean.

This place has nice rooms(at least the one we saw). It seemed very clean. The pool wasn't really for adults but for younger children. There was a deeper end (4ft) but the little ones loved kiddie side. Location was close to the airport and they had a shuttle there.

It has its pros and cons. Breakfast buffet was nice EXCEPT the pancake machine wasn't working. It had a nice pool and workout room. The rooms were normal rooms EXCEPT if you had a room on any floor except the first floor, you have to carry all your luggage up to your room because the elevator was broke. If you just need to sleep somewhere and don't expect anything of luxury this is the place. Little high price for things they don't provide.

5 min from airport. The bathrooms have been updated. They replaced the tiny bottles of soap and shampoo with large bottles next to sink and in the shower, great Dove products. Unfortunately the pancake maker is out of service but eggs and sausage and yogurt were great for breakfast. They also had their famous cinnamon rolls. No half in half for coffee, just coffee mate.

Was in Milwaukee for a work conference. This location is excellent. The room was perfectly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and fresh. Staff was very friendly and extremely attentive. Great location close to the airport. I was staying for business but they have a large pool, I definitely recommend requesting a room not facing the pool as there are a lot of families using the pool, but it didn't bother me. Great location for families.

This is a pretty good hotel. The room was clean and the staff was really helpful. It's not far from the airport or some shops and restaurants. The breakfast was quite large and comes with the room. The food was good and warm, so overall a good stay.

What a friendly group of employees! Very helpful with everything. The rooms are modern and very clean. We have done several park and rides and this was the best in the Milwaukee area.

The hotel is nice and clean. What REALLY is angering to me is that I don't live far, I simply came for a single nights getaway because over the phone they said they had hot breakfast til 10am on sundays. So my family and I come down at 9:15 and there's no food in the buffet area. Then an employee comes in and says there's no food and breakfast ended at 9!!!! There's a sign on the door that says weekday breakfast ends at 9:30 and weekends at 10. Then when I point that out, she says maybe I confused it with weekday breakfast time (which still doesn't make sense bc weekday breakfast ends at 9:30). Then, she says well we didn't make hot breakfast today anyway so you didn't miss anything. Excuse me?? I booked on the premise of having a hot breakfast this morning which is what I was told upon booking. Just a terrible way to end our weekend getaway. I will not come back because what's the point?

I'm at the Holiday Inn Express by Milwaukee Airport and I'm extremely disappointed in this hotel. I looked through their site for half an hour to find a less public way to file a complaint, but Twitter and Yelp will have to do. I wish Motel 6 had had a vacancy.First of all, I'm disabled. I'm usually in my power chair, but I can walk a little with a cane. I don't have much income and I don't travel much. Therefore I'm thoroughly annoyed that the girl who took my reservation enrolled me in the rewards club without my consent. The actual hotel staff have been wonderful with one exception, when my 75 year old mother and I checked in they didn't ask about room preferences and assigned us a third (top) floor room a fair walk from the elevator. This was excruciating when the fire alarm went off. We had to descend three flights of stairs and then found out it was all caused by a stuck valve on the boiler. Combine that with stains on the ceiling and loose tile in the bathroom and I expect their budget for maintenance is a little thin. Now, the pool entrance is right next to the elevator core and emergency stairwell, which made our little fire drill all the more treacherous. Fortunately I was able to get into the pool for a little light exercise to relieve the pain in my shoulders and hip once it was all clear. Unfortunately they don't have a swimming pool at this location, they have a splash pool, excellent for kids to play in, impossible for an adult to swim in. The staff here have been very accommodating and have no doubt done their best to allay my problems. So here I lie in pain and unable to sleep, composing a post that I doubt will accomplish much. All because IGH appears to value shareholders more than customers. (If that weren't the case their staff would be empowered to offer more than a candy bar to remedy a rightfully disgruntled patron.)
