i was working in the area when i was approached by an employee. i was offered a coffee and the generosity could have made me cry. on top of that, the coffee itself was made perfectly. not harsh on the throat , too hot or cold, and the taste was phenomenal. the location is ideal; about a block away in all directions from busy traffic and it was just relaxing no matter where you were. the employees were compassionate about their customers and to me that deserves an award. they even support local artists! how amazing is that!!!

Currently my favorite place to get coffee. There is always something delicious and new on the menu. The vibe is always very welcoming and relaxed.

The location was close due to repairs. So I really don't get the opportunity to experience the location and service.

Interval cafe is true to its slogan upholding kindness. My girlfriend, Trisha and I have been changed by their kindness. They let us warm up and offer treats and coffee when they can and are more than happy to accommodate us as we overcome homelessness..when the snow melts we can even get a gig taking out their trash and doing maintenance! Interval has vibes of what fuel was on center street and Rochambo on Brady but the staff are what makes this place stand out! Not only in the coffee amazing but the atmosphere of unbridled kindness and integrity led me to understand that ethical consumption under capitalism starts with shopping local…anyone can find a home and smile here thank you Ryan and Sam especially for giving us a chance and showing us love, we are indebted. We will pay you back by being our best selves and spreading the good vibes your shop engenders!

A place that serves you THICK CUT toast truly cares.Interval Coffee exceeded my expectations today. I was in a bind and in the mood for a quiet coffee shop vibe that also had a decent menu of food so I can have a proper meal while being alone with my thoughts. The brunch was delicious, and you don’t have to hurry in at a specific time to enjoy it since it is available ALL DAY. Everything was hot and fresh and it’s honestly unbelievable that it was just $10. The jam was great too.I haven’t had the coffee, only a sparkling water. But now I am tempted to go back up to the counter after I sit with the food for a while and order a coffee.Thank you for your quality food, hard work, and great service! I will be coming here much more often! ???

Excellent coffee in chill digs - plus a cookie that was on point! What a charming spot to meet up with a friend or go for a first date or just simply relax alone.

Came for the coffee (top notch), started with biscuits (perfection). So good wound up ordering breakfast sandwich too. Even condiments are house-made, eg beet hot sauce/ketchup.Cool vibe. Packed with in-the-know locals.

The bakery here is phenomenal! I've also enjoyed the espresso drinks, the service, the location, and the interior design of this spot.

Great coffee shop. Definitely one of the best in the city. Not a ton of seats so if you plan to go to study, I would recommend being prepared to change the plan. There are many great spots nearby, I would argue this is the best overall.

Their coffee beans are $30, (double the price of stumptown and colectivo), and extremely oily and clog up my baratza encore grinder.
