A simple far away from the Main Street and across from the church. This place is a family-owned business it is in a residential area across the street from a Catholic Church. Nothing says Milwaukee more than businesses such as this

Boring but good place to go for, what I would say, cheapest drinks in Milwaukee. If you're into dive bars this place is for you.

Sometimes our neighbors to the north get a bum rap. I know that things are sooooo different in Milwaukee, it may seem like a foreign country(jk). I have been to J.D.'s three times. Each time was a pleasant experience. Twice I went before a ball game at Miller Park. Good place with good bartender and decent customers. I was comped a shot by the bar keep and twice a good patron of the tavern bought a round of shots for the few in attendance. A fine gesture indeed. Their selection is run of the mill domestic cans and bottles and shots. I always like to buy a pack of smokes before and sit and smoke and drink like ol' times in chicago. Best bet is to grab a can of some cheap domestic brew a shot of whiskey and hit up the juke box for "the wreck of the edmund fitzgerald" and get all pissed up.
