Wonderful bright smile greets you at the door. Great attitude and demeanor. Prices a little high but when you ask for "the works" that's what you get! My sandwich was gigantic! With fries & 12 oz soda it was $20. After eating, I want to go to sleep, lol.. Definitely worth trying again. I'd like to try thier wings, I hear they come with fries..

We got multiple items. corned beef sandwich, corned beef filled egg rolls, chicken wings and turkey pastrami sandwich, anything with corned beef is delicious. And the staff are really friendly. Definitely worth a try!

It was very fatty. I guess i didn’t know to say make it lean.The sandwich was decent. I spent about $20. I would pick McBobs over Jakes. I wasnt really a fan of this. Not too much flavor.

Jakes has been around for as long as I can remember. The staff has changed, and it has also but it is still the only place in the neighborhood where you can get a good corn beef sandwich.

I had a business meeting in Milwaukee, and we ordered for pickup from Jake's. I loved Jake's Reuben sandwich when I had a job on North Ave. 30 years ago--and it's STILL THE BEST REUBEN IN MILWAUKEE! Everyone else loved their orders too. Keep up the great work, Jake's! We'll be back!

Good sandwich, lean meat plentiful (extra $3), loved the mustard and pickle. Okraft. A grilled sandwich with Swiss cheese, no kraut.

I used to go often over 25years ago. They had the best in town. I remember going and the lines would be out the door. I guess I will never taste anything like that again. No different than any other corned beef sandwich shop. The bread isn’t that fresh either ?

This place is so good. Toasted pastrami sandwich. Just like I remember it from eating back in 2016. Portions haven’t changed. I’d come by more if I still lived in MKE. I ended up taking home 1.5 pounds of pastrami!

My absolute favorite Diner to get Cornbeef sandwiches. Hands-down the best. Even with the new owner you kind of expect changes but food is still amazing as ever.

Not good. Reuben was one of the worst I've ever had. Corned beef was 80 percent fat, bread was soggy, Swiss cheese was weirdly rubbery. Broccoli cheese soup was sour for some reason, guessing it was old. I'm not a review person but the food here from this one experience was really bad.
